What do you all think? Do you think it's gonna be a #6 or 7 seed for our Cats?

I think we will be in a 6 vs 11 game or a 7 vs 10.

Any guesses on who our opponent will be?

I'm hoping the Cats don't get put on the 8 seed line. That would mean a first game against #9 and then a #1.

I'm thinking we will be on the 6/7 line. Look for us to possibly be sent West to face someone like a Boise St and then possibly a future revenge match against UCLA. If the Cats are a #7, I could see maybe a matchup against someone like Prvidence. We blew our chance of being a #5 and playing in Louisville or Columbus. Wouldn't be surprised to see us playing in Denver.

WTH.... why in the hell am I talking to myself in here?

Just call me Nostradumba$$!!!   lol

Cats got an absolutely incredible draw!!!  And they get to go to Greensboro.

Likely path to an Elite Eight =>   Providence=>   Kansas State => Marquette

Are you freakin' kidding me !!!!!!

Two quick thoughts:

1. UK won't have to face a single Preseason Top 25 to make the Elite Eight. (Lets take advantage of that $H!t )

2. I think we have that opening game because Cal definitely knows how to shut down Bryce Hopkins.  lol

Cal & team finding out where and who they will be playing. Notice some of the players mentioning Bryce. I wonder what Cal was saying. Bryce was pretty damn scathing about his role at UK under Cal in that article in The Athletic . If Hopkins goes off and the Friars beat KY, it woud be a nightmare scenario for Cal.

Yeah, this could go two ways. Another first-round loss, especially if Hopkins plays a major role, would definitely be a nightmare scenario for Calipari. On the other hand, as you pointed out, it looks like for once the committee didn’t try to kill us. Providence has really struggled down the stretch. Kansas St. is good, but not a juggernaut, Marquette is probably better than us, but certainly not unbeatable. This will be really interesting to see how it unfolds.

The HOF'er & Ms C had the guys over for a watch party. (I was invited but was unable to attend  :)  ) Here's the reaction of the onlookers from the Calipari  estate.

Cal's reaction to the draw and the tourney road ahead.
