2023 Schedule
#1
What does your teams 2023 schedule look like? With the new alignment a lot of teams may have new district opponents.
#2
It's tough to do anything scheduling wise atm just not knowing what your district looks like.

Outside of whoever ends up in our district, I believe Ashland is the only game the RAMS have on the schedule right now that is for sure.

I look for Pikeville to be on the schedule. Both teams are having issues scheduling so it makes sense. I believe Greenup will be on the schedule. I think we might replace Russell with Ironton and I’ve heard a few other possibilities that will be very interesting. If these teams are added the Rams won’t breeze through the season like they did this year. Expect some losses next year for the Rams

I’m not sure how true this is but I’ve heard talks of a meeting at halfway game against Mayfield as well.

I’m pretty positive Estill and Powell will play each other.

Really won’t know schedules til February/March after the new alignment is finalized in January.

I don't think that is true about Ironton being out of the OVC.

I wish Beechwood and Pikeville would start a series again! Those games were awesome to play in and watch.

Coach Salmons has reached out to Coach Peck at Johnson Central about playing in the next cycle. Johnson Central has weeks 1,2,3,5 and 6 open next year. Hopefully the game will happen.

Ironton will be at Johnson Central week 4 next year.

I doubt Ironton will be at Johnson Central week 4 next season because they've promoted the second year of their Ironton Classic consisting of 2 days of football bringing in top out of state teams to play top Ohio teams. Surely they will play the feature game of that event.

The OVC teams have their schedules posted on the SEO Preps board. Greenup is playing Coal Grove and Portsmouth. Russell and Boyd are playing South Point. These are good games to schedule if you're not concerned with RPI because it's good competition close to home. Same goes for West Virginia schools.

Ashland and Raceland should play Johnson Central, Pikeville, and Belfry since all of those teams look to be competitive next season and beyond. That would knock off 4 games on the schedule for both Ashland and Raceland.

Maybe the Ironton Classic isn’t on week 4 next year. Johnson Central and Ironton have a two year contract in place. The 2022 game was at Ironton and the 2023 game will be at Johnson Central.

RAMDAD50, Only Ironton Football will leave the OVC in 2024 but will continue to play 3 OVC football schools. Ironton will still be OVC for Football in 2023.

I do and I am sure I am not the only member who does. Hopefully, Ironton will be playing Johnson Central again this season. They usually play one or two Kentucky teams each season.

Heard Pikeville picked up a Week 11 game against Boyd County.
