T1073.com will have it streaming for 5 bucks. I think the 13th region media football group on Facebook will be doing a stream as well.
No. It’s KSR’s game of the week. They’ll be streaming for free on liberal sports radio. I mean Kentucky sports radio. 13th media networthless will just be calling it on air from what I understood.
I didn’t think KSR streamed them. I always thought Freddie just came to town and would report on it. I’ve not seen any other games on there.
They did boyle vs Lex cath I’m thinking. And bowling green last week was streaming.

Now you got me second guessing haha. Well if it’s not on there it will be on T107.3 for $5. I know 13th MN is Just doing voice for the game

I can assure you animal cruelty is a pretty serious offense, you have beat the dead horse to death. Yeah it wasn’t cool someone said that but I highly doubt that would motivate kids who where freshman and sophomores when it happened. I’m told from a reliable source you guys are running the same defense as last year that could be wrong I’m not sure but anyhow if you do and you all stop Johnson central it shows that you all are just the better team this year and you wasn't the better team last year.

Yes. It’s not been a big secret since about Sunday I think when they started working on it. But the 5-2 we’ll run this year has
some different personnel. But I’d disagree with your last statement. A defensive set wouldn’t determine that alone. It would be like saying the score of the Letcher game this year shows your anywhere near as good as last year. Which I don’t believe.  But I also believe you were the better “team” last year. But not 30 points. We had More talent last year in my opinion. But this kids are playong for the name on the front. Not the name on the back. (Or our case, the number haha) but I guess we’ll all know tomorrow. Are you coming down?

No I’m not saying that a defensive set determines anything I’m saying if the coach staff sticks to the same game plan and is successful you can’t hate them with a loss and love them with a win, they can’t go out there and tackle and then force the backfield to quit tip toeing through the gaps sometimes the team across from you is just better as I feel like Johnson central was last year and Corbin may be this year.  Last years Corbin was loaded with talent but Talent alone don’t win especially the way Corbin is playing ball this year you got men that are hard nosed athletes that aren’t afraid of contact in the backfield from what I’ve saw that’s a big difference from this year to last year.         I plan on coming lord willin just depends how my morning in the tree stand goes.

Now I can agree with that. If they took the same exact game plan. Hopefully offensively the don’t try to get cute with it, and Do what they’ve been doing all year. No one has stopped it yet. Always been a fan of wait til someone does to tweak it.

If they run the same defense and don't try to make adjustments to slow the run down I'd fire everybody's A$$ on the staff. if I wasn't slowing the run down I'd switch 4-6, 5-2 or go into a FG block formation or somethiong if what I was doing wasn't working. lol

So someone in the booth was playing "Hound Dog" over the p.a. while a player was lying injured on the field?
Yes their PA announcer, while the fans were screaming get him off the field.Young man laying there with a compound fracture both bones above his ankle.
Game Day!!!

Corbin radio guy was in utter disbelief, said it was the worst act of unsportsmanlike behavior he had ever seen. I wasn't there . I only know what was said by those who attended and what was broadcast on Corbin radio.

Hounds get payback TONIGHT!!!
I was there, not a supporter of either program, I was working, but I do have respect for both teams. What I witnessed, was JC fans yelling to get coaches and/or players off the field because they thought a melee was breaking out, as did I. The Corbin athlete that was hurt was away from the action, in my opinion most JC fans as I, had no clue there was an injured athlete, the press box could have overlooked the injury as well. After everything settled down, respect ruled the day with the exception of a few Corbin fans who were upset and looking to be victims. One thing I do know for sure, visiting teams will tell you in my experience, they've never been treated better than at Johnson Central under the guidance of coach Matney, I do not know if this is still the norm.

On the other hand Corbin fans appears proud of their port-a-potties for the visiting fans and the locker room for visiting teams with it's NAKED COMMODE at Campbell Field. I hear a complete renovation of their football facilities is in the near future, but one thing that won't be touched is the old visiting team dressing room beneath the Corbin home side bleachers nor the NAKED COMMODE. Maybe after Corbin wins the 2022 KHSAA State 4A Football Championship (I have no reason to believe they won't, they are the best team in 4A according to RPI) they will step up and show visiting teams some hospitality, and stop thinking they need the advantage the NAKED COMMODE gives. My Observations and opinion not that it matters.

I'm going to correct you on one fact since you was there. I was there too. The player who got injured that you say was away from the action played left side Defensive End and the running play was on his side. Which at that time of the game, the injured player was right in front of the Johnson Central sideline.
As I said, I wasn't at the 2020 game so I can't say. I have talked to some Corbin fans who viewed the incident differently than Spoozer, who seems genuinely upset by bad toilets.

I do wonder, though, how could the JC fans have been worried about a melee breaking out when a kid was lying on the ground for that long. There was a long delay while he was being treated. How could they have not known there was a serious injury?

So , toilets at JC are top-notch facilities ? Damn, that's great to hear.

Bottomline,  seems almost certain fans knew there was an injured player.  Maybe Spoozer was taking a potty break.
One of the best things about the bathrooms at Harlan County is that they are WARM!!! Like at Bucee's, you can potty like a rock star!!!

Good luck tonight. Prayers for an injury free game!!!

Thank you. I was not at the game but the hospitality that you described matches my experience with Johnson Central, which spans a period of 40 years. I have known most JC principals personally since the mid-70s and the school has always been proud of the hospitality extended to visitors, as well as the security that is provided for the games. I

The Johnson Central principal and his staff have always patrolled the stadium with radios looking for potential threats. Our facilities have always been well maintained for the home crowd and visitors alike. You will never see JC posters taking pride in providing second class
accommodations to visitors to our school.

I can tell you are not biased, and I'd never be sarcastic.  When I go to Corbin to a football game I walk over on the homeside to the concession stand and they have restrooms right beside it. Some schools only have restrooms on one side. Whitley County has them on one end. You used to have to walk over to the gym where the locker room is. Talk about a victim attitude. I hope you never have to use an outhouse or a sears catalog.

Why will we never see that?
First, Johnson Central does not provide second-class facilities to visitors. Secondly, if they did, glorifying inhospitality reflects poorly on the school and the community in which it is located. Any outsider reading the posts in this thread are not likely to look forward to a game at Corbin. Most people would not want to promote that image of their own community, but it is your town and your school.
Obviously, elegant bathroom facilities at football stadiums are terribly important to Spoozer.

Also, Hoot's comment about JC posters never bragging about bad toilets seems to implying that Corbin posters are classless for joking about toilets at Campbell Field.

Something tells me there are a few posters on here that would like to tell ol' Hoot what he can do with his Steelcase Leap office chair.

I am sure that there are Corbin natives who would not mind telling one of their own what they think of his opinion that their community is a hotbed of white supremacy and Klan supporters too.  Big Grin

I didn't believe your descriptions of the Corbin area in the Politics forum and hopefully accounts of the visitors' locker room facilities are exaggerated in this thread.

Thirdly, You will sit in your fancy chair and melt down tonight when the hounds smoke your team's hind end.

If I was interested in spoozer's silly BS I'd go read the newspaper.

I am surprised to see you up so early after posting insults into the wee hours of the morning, Dougie. How's that hangover?  Big Grin

You are obsessed with other peoples' hind ends. Maybe you should practice some psychiatry on yourself.

I'm always up early. Be sure and go to the spa and stay in where it's warm tonight, and try your best not to whine and cry like a little girl when your team loses.

I'm practicing getting inside your little weak mind. You're acting all tough, but you're afraid to go outside and watch a football game. You're afraid of what's going to happen tonight.
