They have played much better offense's and skill than Highlands and there starting D has only giving up more than 3 TD's once in a game the whole year I think and that was to Douglas. Dunbar scored 28 but Scott was up 34-6 at one point so that was on the JV.  Not sure who will win the game, should be a good one.

You was right the other day, I thought Lexington Catholic would beat Scott County and boy was I wrong, but hey what a year of unpredictable games.
I had to eat some crow pie. I thought LC would beat them by about 14. And now im more confused than I was before... I dont know how you barely get by a Franklin team then beat ballard.  This season has thrown me through more loops than Nibroc carnival ride.. Its not just Scott either. Lexington and Cov cath was a shocker, then LC beat boyle. Its like one big round obin that goes in a loop.
That's a easy one, they upset Franklin Co. the first game of the year when Franklin was 100% healthy with a bunch of Sophomore's starting there first Varsity game that have gotten better week after week. The Lex Cath. game wasn't close as the score either, scott was up 28-7 going into the 4th Q and they just went into prevent. Not sure if they will beat Highlands but the schedule they have played should have Scott County ready.

....and peple didn't realize how good Douglas was Scott's only lost until after the Boyle game.
I think scott will beat Cov cath. Like you said they've played the teams they needed to play to prepare. I'll be honest, I didnt know how good Freddy D was until i watched them play boyle. It wasn't the fact they just man handled Boyle, or even the score. It was watching their players and how talented they were. I dont know if ive ever seen that much talent all the way around on one team. Not counting the early and mid 2000's trinity teams. But more recently I guess. It was like the had a specialist at every stinkin' spot!! Not a pun, but like they single handedly recruited everyone of their positions. I dont know if i saw a weak link in them that game.

The bad thing about 5A... You have to believe in your team, and the players have to believe in themselves and everyone around them. But how in the world do you do that after you watch the best team just dismantle the 2nd, 3rd, best teams in the class?
They play Highlands, but I get your point. I have been watching Ky HS football for years and Douglas has to best defense I have ever seen, 7 of them have D1 offers and they are well coached not sure why some people think they aren't. There offense can be slowed down some because they only have 4 with D1 offers(being sarcastic lol), but almost impossible to score on them unless it's some kind of trick play it's hard to even get first downs on them, and there kicker will put in the end zone about everytime making you have to go 80yds on that D, whew. After this year they still will be hard to beat but there talent falls off some, plus they more than likely move to 6A.

You’ll have a to cut me some slack, I was slightly(HIGHLY) inebriated last night. Lol. I don’t even know where I came up with Scott and Cov cath. I’m trying to think back now to see what lead me to that train of thought and I don’t even remember posting it….  :p

but I still think it’s pretty much true outside of the Scott Cov stuff. I can’t speak to how they are coached. I know they’ve had some let downs in the past, but sometimes the ball don’t bounce your way. Again, I don’t know if I’ve seen a Ky team that’s this stacked at almost every spot. I mean what’s their weakness? No way you can run on them. Their DB are all over the pass. I wonder how much depth they got
