I wish Highlands was coming to town next week instead of Campbell County and their awful WP.

FWIW. Lou central hasn’t been scored on in 5 games. I find that impressive. They’ve won 6 in a row after starting 0-4. Giving up only 7 points in 6 games.

Very impressive , indeed.  I love teams that play strong defense. A lot of teams that advance far in the playoffs can score points but it is usually the team that is the better on defense that wins a championship.

Current 4A RPI :

1. CORBIN 0.73845
2. Boyle 0.72315
3. LexCath 0.71846

Corbin widens its lead a bit this week with a bump from their OWP(no thanks to Pulaski Co. and Franklin Co.) . Should get another little bump tomorrow if Simon Kenton knocks off Ryle.

Man this rpi crap is confusing. I seen Bull Got out at the game and let me tell you that man ( and his son) is on point with it. Not to toot his horn but dang he’s knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff.  Unreal.

Good to see you last night too brother! I enjoyed the game. Corbin is playing very good football right now and seeing the boys in top form at this time of year is what matters, thats like finding a rub line and 20 scrapes in the right spot in the woods lol. As a good coach would say, don't worry about the RPI, this year all the top 4 or 5 teams can win on any given night and Corbin is playing as good as football as any of the other schools. The difference with Corbin is they have the best QB in 4A and its not close in my opinion. QBs are the key to winning big games. I have watched alot of football over the years and I really like this Kid Elam, What I would like to see is a offense where he gets to check down on his recievers in the spread downfield. Having Combs and Wells as go to guys are just unbelievable to have that kind of talent that is D1 level talent in the backfield. Then the recivers are hotter than a fire cracker right now. Playing very good and lightning fast. Then you add the special teams having Big Foot Baker who can kick field goals on the kickoff is just a wow factor! I will say last night the Wayne County QB was tuff, but that Corbin Defense was on the field the whole game and was tired but was still able to hold Wayne scoreless...So thats huge especially this time of year. I would have liked to see some blitzing in this game, I'm greedy but overall the defense looked good. Offense looked good. It's going to be some fun playoffs.
