The Phelps/Valley game should be a good game between two average teams. It does not even compare IMO to the Pikeville and Belfry games. As far as the way they act, I guess they do seem a bit arrogant, but so what, they are better at football, no doubt. I wish everyone the best and hope no one gets hurt physically in these games.:howdy:

I think Phelps with the numbers they have and enrollment are anything but average....Valley for a AA school is subpar IMO....Pikeville and Belfry are football schools and I love that.....

What has Phelps record been lately? I really do not know much about them, but I do know that in Pike County there is Pikeville and Belfry, then everyone else as far as football is concerned.

I think class A includes both county schools and independant systems, even a few private schools.
I have alot of respect for Phelps and I know some great people from there and there have been some great athletes but the fact is currently they are class A which encompasses all schools with enrollment from 29 students to 440.

Phelps will give Valley all they want, wouldn't be surprised at all if Phelps wins...Valley would never make the playoffs in Class A...

Pride no offense But I read Footballnuts post before you edited it,and to be fair dont you think you should have done the same with trenches?Nut was only taking up for the smack that Trench was spewing.....To be honest,I agree with exactly what he said....But to get back on topic as you put it.....Id love to see Belfry win against New Cath.....Henry Clay over Pikeville and Phelps over Valley.

pikeville working hard all summer?.....try since the loss to Somerset....thats how long pikeville has been in the weight room. yea yea everyones saying that pikeville is losing the county bowl......they just might be right but pikeville is far more than just a pushover....just come to the game like i am and im sure you will be surprised.

and im sorry to say but im sure Pikeville has outworked many teams including phelps
