Boyle County 2022

I would have to ask the Boyle faithful, how many times has there been a 3 peat? Looks like Haddix is on the hunt for his 3rd in a row!

What’s haddix total record as a HC, it has to be pretty efficient with the unbelievable boyle era and the corbin 12-13 win seasons.

I was thinking today, he has been to the title game 4 out of the last 5 years in a row with two different programs.

All the guy does is win. Best coach in KY in my opinion.

Nice to see an EKY guy succeed at the level he does.

Bowling green will be better offensively IMO this year...Frederick Douglas looks on paper to be the best competition on the schedule...I think the Bryan Station match up is interesting as well....still will take Boyle going 10-0.

If i was to hire a coach from the state of kentucky at any point in history to coach my program, I would hire the following.
1. Jim Matney
2. Ty Scroggins
3. Haywood
4. Dale Mueller
5. Haddix
6. Chuck Smith
He has put himself in competition with these guys and that is unbelievable for his youth. One thing I love is that he does what’s required to help get his kids at the next level, can’t say that about most coaches in the state.

Boyle 5 peat was from '99 to '03.  That's the only 3 peat in Rebel history.

A lot of other schools have done it though.  Pikeville, Beechwood, Trinity, HHS are the ones that come to mind right off.

Who will be Boyle's QB. I know they have Bodner back. Who will be their top receivers coming up?

They have Sage Dawson coming back as well as a QB option
#15
Wr is a big question mark. They will have Jakei Tarter who is a tall receiver but not really a deep ball threat. Lot's of holes to fill.
#16
Sage Dawson looked like to me he would be a threat anywhere on the field. QB, Wide Receiver, Pure Athlete. I like him.

Dawson will be QB,unless one moves in. Bodner will be back at RB. Tarter back at TE. Cole Sims will step in at WR.

If Boyle continues to dominate the LOS on both sides as they have the past two years expect to see them making a late push in December once again. With an experienced Bodner in the backfield I could see it being very hard to stop that run game, game in and game out.
#19
I agree, the OL & DL will be very good. Bodner will have big games , as he hits the holes and follows his blocks as good as anybody. They will be run heavy until the new QB settles in.
The defense will be a monster.....

I am curious as to what makes you believe that as Boyle beat both Frederick Douglass and Bowling Green pretty handily last year. Freddie D by 3 scores and 30-0 to Bowling Green.

Got to score a bunch to beat Boyle , and with that Defense coming back, I don't see it.

Ok, just wondering. Boyle run game should be good next year but I think points will be tougher to come by. Gillis and Lanter loss is hard to replace. Haddix always seems to get the ball down the field though. I trust him to figure out how this bunch will accomplish that. They might lose a couple.....but it won't be easy.

Even more impressive is the 5 peat was done in the old 4 class system and not the water down 6 classes.

The qb from Danville will pick right up where the last one left off. Boyle will be in the mix, if not the favorite.

I would be interested in hearing who's going to Boyle..I mean it does seem like the place to go if you want to compete for a state title.
