Where's he been the last few years ? Didn't he get hired at Great Crossing and at one time coach South Laurel?

Corbin assistant and then to Pineville as Head Coach.

Chappell is a good dude from what I know about him. I wish him nothing but the best.

Will Chappell now schedule Corbin? He has a very good team coming back and in a lot of peoples eyes should win the district and state
#8
Top Notch Human being, I know the scheduling rotates every two years, so he may not be able to get it together, no clue if the 2023 schedules are set. Coach Chappell didn't dodge Corbin when he was at Whitley, I'd say if it's home and away deal Coach Chappell would love to reinstate/create the rivalry.

I though it was an agreement with Superintendents to play each other at Whitley and Corbin for gate money.
I could be wrong.

This is the really good group of players that won state in middle school, a lot of them have started since 9th grade and most people always thought this was going to be the year to win it all and beat both of the Pulaski schools and advance to state

Corbin and Pulaski win middle school state titles every year it seems. Haven't won one in HS for a good amount of time. The MS state championship means little to nothing once you move to the HS level.

What’s wrong with winning a middle school title. Winning is winning at any level. Just gets tuffer as kids get older and grow up.

Nothing wrong with it. Doesn't mean you will win a high school state championship. It makes the kids happy and it's great for football. Happy kids and better football are what's its all about.
