Stoops visits Belfry
#1
Mark stoops and staff are in fact on location at Belfry High School today. We all hope this means what we think it means.

I would imagine the 3A State Championship MVP & Mr. Football candidate.

I just heard this isn't true. But also heard it is from different sources. Also heard Auburn was going to offer him a PWO? Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Now heard it's not Stoops but Mark Perry who is an assistant coach. He was the head coach at Lexington Catholic in 15 when Belfry beat them.

But Matt Jones from KSR said Stopps was there. He knows everything ?

Don't believe that that dude Matt say lol. Coach Perry took it to Twitter and post a picture of him and Coach Haywood ONLY, NO coach Stoop. Also coach Perry stopped by Pikeville to congratulate Coach McNamee. Picture is in the proof.

Said his source was Darryl from D&D but then said no UK was there but not Stoops. Just an assistant

My question is why is the world is Louisville not there. Goes to show you Satterfield and staff doesn't even put much effort into recruiting the state. Much easier to get playing time at Louisville than UK right now

I was being sarcastic. I can’t stand Matt Jones. That was supposed to be a rolling eyes emoji instead of a question mark.

So can anyone confirm if UK has indeed offered Dixon? The coach was at Pikeville HS this morning also.

Would love to Isaac Dixon in UK Blue. With the recent defections UK has experienced in the backfield....numbers are down. Nor only does he run a 4.4 40......the kid has FANTASTIC hands. Would be a great slot receiver. The kid has great feet and vision. Here’s hoping UK comes to the table with a scholly.

UK and UL only goes after Belfry Offensive Linemen.
#13
It really doesn’t matter if it Stoops or another rep from UK as long as they have that piece of paper with his offer on it
I’d love to see that young man suit up for UK !

I don’t see why, they’ve never passed blocked in their lives.  ?

Dixon is an awesome talent. The few times I saw him in person he was electric.
Honest question.
Do you guys think he could be successful in the SEC?
I see him listed at 5'11" 190. Hopefully he could add another 10 good lbs before next fall.
Interested to see what you guys think. I'm on the fence.

By successful I'm not saying Benny Snell but actually be a big piece in their offense.

Honestly I think he could help the team if he puts his heart into it. Learning a completely new offense and terminology would be something he would need to put a lot of time into and you have to be able to pass protect in the SEC. I think if he can do this he could find his way onto the field in a couple years. He could also develop into a good slot receiver also.

Coach Perry was also at Pikeville today getting a picture with Coach Mac. Could be just a visit the state champions tour

Give him a solid year in weight room and nutritionist they have. 10 lbs or more easy and maybe a little faster. Special teams is where he would excel for any school.

Well if that's the case then somebody got everyone excited for absolutely no reason. I heard it on KSR this morning and Matt Jones said Darryl from D&D was the source then retracted his statement and said UK was there but it wasn't Stoops. Not sure who told Darryl that Coach Stoops was in Belfry.

This will be big news soon I think.
#21
Any update on any offers? I'm going to guess a PWO was offered. The Lanter kid from Boyle was very impressive but he was only offered a PWO at UK.

D&D needs to be a CNN Correspondent with how often they miss a scoop or just blatantly give premature or false info out.

The bad side of social media. Everyone wants to be first to drop a scoop for RTs and Likes. So they just say whatever just to get it out there.

That ain't on you. Usually KSR does a better job of posting fakes and not assumptions.

He might be my cousin, but I don't claim him.
