Central is out, Lex Cath is out and these 2 teams are still playing ? One of Corbin or JC will be out as of Saturday morning. That is 3 out of top 6 who are out simply because of geography. If going to utilize RPI, then take top 16 in RPI per class, seed the team's 1-8 East & West. After initial round, all teams are seeded state wide based upon RPI.

Why? RPI is garbage. Just because they have other good teams in their general area we should adjust everything again? These two teams have as much right to play as anyone.

They are not out simply because of Geography. They are out or will be out because being defeated in the playoffs. Also if we talk geography we could say Johnson Central is playing 4a football simply due to geography but is a 5A school by numbers. I am pretty sure Hopkinsville and or Logan county should also be 5A. Read their appeal to play down in class if you don't believe me. And I will point out I am not a hater of any of the schools but the never ending maneuvering to get the traditional schools to the finals is going to ruin football in this state imo.

I see where your coming from and I do agree that teams are out of the playoffs bc they are being beat however you do have to realize that the setup of the matchups have had a lot to do with geography. Look back at previous years and previous systems you don’t have these matchups and type of results for any other reason then where they are located. I’m sure he agrees they are being eliminated bc they get beat but saying the reason for those particular matchup’s is due to geography and I do agree with that. The winner between Corbin, JC and Boyle will easily defeat the West winner imo and the poor matchups due to location should be fixed if we are to use the RPI from now on.

Big Marksbury fan. I’ll be pulling for Spencer but I’m not sure they have played a team like this in a couple months so it will take some adjustments. I’ll go with Spencer 27-24
