boyle wins

I think Boyle will win bigger than the first meeting. LexCath has had a great season. Only losing to Boyle and LCA. They are well coached and very good. I actually like the Gorhman QB better than Beau Allen, kid is tough. But I don't think it will be as close as the first one.

Boyle County rolling right now at the right time. Wait they been rolling all year.

Boyle County 42
Lexington Catholic 14
#5
Boyle County 35
Lexington Catholic 14
#6
Boyle 35-10.
#7
Boyle will have their hands full but I still wonder if the last matchup was a fluke.

Boyle 28
Lex Cath 10
#8
Boyle County 35-14
#9
Boyle 49-14
#10
Boyle is going to roll in this one.
#11
Boyle with 512 yards to LexCath's 286 last game. Just two or three big mistakes really cost them last game. I think they win comfortably this time around.

I can remember the 97 Rebels defeated Bourbon County 33-0 in the regular season. The rematch Bourbon upset them and went on the become the first and believe only #4 to ever win a State Title. Boyle better be ready to play and not take this game for granted. Lexington Catholic is very capable of winning.

I thought I read where LC had some injuries from last week. I sure hope not. Want to see both teams play at 100%.

I for one still think the first was a fluke. Not to say LC is a pushover. They’ve got a good team. Just not enough to beat boyle. The Gillis to Lanter pipeline will be gushing yards Friday. I don’t think LC has the D to stop it. Add on boyles pretty good run game, and I’m looking for it to go down, 38-14. Maybe pretty close the first half. 21-7ish. But boyle will take control in the 2nd.

I think Lexington Catholic has enough to beat any team in 4A if they played their best game, but I think their season will end after this week.

I wish this was the GOTW!!! Pulling for Boyle.
#17
I’m pretty sure LC will have a few starters out. One for sure that I know is #55 Jake Nash SR. OL/DL. They carted him off the field. I think Boyle will win.
#18
Boyle will win this one by 3 touchdowns.
#19
This game is always competitive. I'll take boyle by 14 but Lexington catholic will make them play the entire game.
#20
Boyle will get this to a running clock.

The score you predicted is not a running clock.

It is if Boyle County jumps out to a 36-0 lead and Catholic punches in two scores on the JV team.

If LC RB is out no shot, if he plays and is 100% they have a small shot. I seen the first game and they looked evenly matched to me. They play each other so much nothing will surprise me.

I'll be danged James you are correct. I was looking at the only the difference in the score given. I stand corrected !

At this point in the season just win, move on to next week, and hope you have no injuries. Go Rebels!

^^^ that’s the formula!! I’d take the ugliest win by 1 every week from here on out. But I still don’t believe that’s in the future for any 4A schools that start with L

Exactly!  A 1 point win is the same as a 36 point running clock.  Both advance and start next week's game 0-0.  Since the brackets have be set, polls and rankings mean nothing.   It will be settled on the field.
