Gave that one away. I dont really care that they were a 6A school, Pikeville was the better most technically sound team and shouldve won that game. Obviously 5 games on the road and traveling 1000 miles over the month wears on any team but in critical moments you gotta focus and pull that one out. Hopefully the Panthers will start their district play off with a bang and make Sayre an example of whats to come.

A man simply speaking the truth. The kool aid is STRONG year in and year out no doubt. You would think the biggest 1A school in the state would win it every year. Just like this thread, Even when they lose they still somehow win! Lol

Something to prove? You trying for the underdog path jet? “Chip on their shoulder”The only thing Pikeville should prove (with Beechwood now out of 1A) is they’re expected to win every year but somehow don’t.

Beechwood has been gone for a whopping 2.5 years.

Pikeville won the State Championship 43-0 in year one and choked in year 2. Maybe wait a few years before we get carried away with the “can’t win without Beechwood” narrative.

Somebody has Pikeville on their mind way too much. Pikeville has something to prove this year after blowing it last year. If you are trying to argue that Pikeville should win it every year and doesn't then have at it. FWIW I think Pikeville will win it all this year and I could not care less ever what Paintsville or Hazard fans think.

Bluebird who did Pikeville beat in 2015? Had them on the ropes in 2018 but loss by one and if that is a butt whipping I have been wrong a lot in my life and believe me that’s been a while. I think Pikeville can win it but that has nothing to do with anyone on this board but just those young men playing the game and I still think which is my opinion if they would have won that game against Hazard Paintsville wouldn’t have had that cake walk to the championship game. As always GO PANTHERS!!! Except for Raceland the rest of the games were easy.
