With that being said they have a tall task ahead of them but I think they will keep it somewhat close.

Game day Panthers get ready for a long road trip and a hard fought battle. It’s going to take 4 quarters of hard nose football to win this one so buckle up and do your jobs and no plays off. Have faith these young men can get it done but you have to want it because I know they are going to play hard against you. So it’s up to you guys to execute the game plan and all be fine. Coach Blair has the Madison Central defense in the right spots. They are going to have to wrap up and prevent the big play. Pikeville is a BIG CHALLENGE regradless of class size. I have been excited about this game since the schedule came out!!!

I'm going to say Pikeville in a very tight game. Pikeville was neck and neck with LCA until the 4th quarter last week. I think they get fired up and do everything they can to go four quarters with MC and eek out the win. Low scoring dog fight:

Two big catches from West of MC is the difference on offense... but MC's defense is nice. They're able to get pressure and stop the run with 4 and 5 guys.

Pikeville is going to need a big game from McNamee's arm to stay in this one.
