Trump grabbing every dollar that he can
#1
https://currently.att.yahoo.com/att/cm/t...48636.html

Former President Donald Trump turned up the heat in his growing feud with the Republican National Committee on Monday night with an email urging his supporters to give their money to him and not the party or other candidates.

On Monday, The Washington Post reported that the RNC had decided to move a portion of its April retreat to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Trump will speak and the committee will pay him and his resort for the event.

That type of self-serving arrangement had become somewhat standard the Trump era, with his properties collecting some $10.5 million from various political and campaign funds. But now, it seems increasingly clear he wants the money flowing directly to him ― and not to the party.

And people are that damned stupid.   That's why "Pastor" Kenneth Copeland is worth more than 750 million dollars.

Yes, people are stupid.

Trump is a private citizen who is in the hotel/resort business. There is no reason for him to turn business away from the RNC or any other group that wants to book a reservation. Would you prefer that he busy himself pocketing millions of dollars in bribes from the Chinese Communist Party?

I don't blame Trump for holding a grudge against the establishment Republicans. I am a bit surprised that he is allowing them to set foot on his company's property, but he needs to focus on keeping his companies afloat in the face of the onslaught of liberal attacks on them.

As quickly as possible.  Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin As quickly as possible would have been October 2020 when Trump wanted to cut larger checks. Pelosi refused because she thought sending checks would help Trump's campaign.

Don't forget about Mitch he definitely wasn't going to cut no $2,000 checks
But Nancy did sign off on the first checks don't forget about that

The bill never reached McConnell. Pelosi stalled the bill because of the election. She could not care less about people suffering and delayed the checks and cut the amount that Trump was willing to approve. The main purpose of these big spending bills is to fund Democrat slush funds. Trump offered to sign a bill that gave more people who were actually impacted by the pandemic but did not include billions of dollars of unrelated spending. Illegal aliens will get more money than many American citizens will receive.

Is there any scumbag Democrat that you are not willing to defend?  Big Grin Big Grin I don't think so.

It is impossible to have an honest debate with a liar. Trump offered to sign a clean bill that was stripped of all of the non-related garbage that Pelosi insisted on including. Democrats wanted to bail out states like New York, whose governors inflicted damage on their own economies by forcing businesses and schools to close for long periods. All Pelosi had to do was accept Trump's offer and the checks would have been cut in October. McConnell might not have liked it, but the votes were there to pass the bill through the Senate.

And once again you have side stepped the first bill Nancy put on the Dear Leader's desk
Mitch was not going to give away $2,000
Did Illegal's get money in first 2 bills and if they did what has changed ?
Slush fund's you sure you talking about the first bill or the third bill which one
When you are in the majority you get to put on the floor what you want who said that ?
If Nancy wanted to hurt Dear Leader like you have accused her then why did she passed the first bill you have to agree that helped Dear Leader in fact he held the checks up so he could put his signature on them
Come on man you can do better than that

Trump only wanted to do the $2000 check because he thought that it would help him in the election. It was common knowledge, at least to those who had any common sense, that the Senate would have never passed it.

Trump said yes. Pelosi said no. That is the bottom line. If Pelosi had been certain that it would not have passed the Senate, then it would have made Trump and the Republicans look very weak going into the election. There is no reason to believe that a clean bill would not have passed.

i dodged nothing. I create my own posts and they contain my own opinions. You do not have to like them. As far as extra costs, the so-called stimulus bill contains a mountain of wasteful spending, such as the $650 million bail out of San Francisco, which happens to be represented in Congress by Nancy Pelosi. I don't really think that you want to compare the waste in Pelosi's bill to wasteful spending that Trump caused. That spending legislation is full of line item expenses that even most liberal voters would oppose if they bothered to learn what was in the legislation. Democrats always demand unrelated pork barrel spending when they believe that they can damage Republicans by blocking a bill. They do not care how many people went hungry or lost their homes and businesses because of Pelosi's delay.

The only reason that any stimulus spending was necessary is that blue state governors, as well as the RINO governor of Maryland, forced business and school closures. Had they fought the pandemic like DeSantis and Noem did, the economy would not have collapsed.

You don't know much about anything but the bail outs are not mine. They were gifts from Nancy Pelosi from American taxpayers. Don't worry, working people will pay to bail out San Francisco, so it's not skin off of your nose.

i dodged nothing.

Your Dear Leader added 8 Trillion to the debt in 4 years and the final tally has yet to be counted
But it shouldn't be no surprise he did say he was King of Debt
And YES Quooter you still dodged the first stimulus bill Nancy put on Dear Leader's desk
And about the illegal's getting a check if they got them in the first 2 what has got your panties in a wad about the third check
Quooter you also dodge the separate letter the Dear Leader send out to millions i bet that cost a lot i bet your framed yours hung it right on the wall
Don't know nothing about your so called bail outs
You don't know much about anything but the bail outs are not mine. They were gifts from Nancy Pelosi from American taxpayers. Don't worry, working people will pay to bail out San Francisco, so it's not skin off of your nose.
And once again Quooter dodging the questions about Nancy giving Dear Leader what he wanted in first stimulus

Why are you worried about politics at all? As long as you can walk to the mailbox and get your check, you have achieved your lifetime goal. Keep voting Democrat. Nancy will make sure you are fed.

You guys are really too much. You support all of the stimulus spending, including all of the non-pandemic related pork that Pelosi demanded as part of the deal and not the deficit is all Trump's fault. It makes no sense but it is par for the course for you two. I would call you frauds but that would be too strong an insult for mere fraudsters.

You supported the spending only when a republican is doing it

Actually, I never supported any of the spending. I understand why it was probably a politically necessary thing for Trump to do, but none of the "stimulus" spending was justified then or now. The problem for Trump was big spenders like McConnell would probably have conspired with Democrats to impeach and convict him if he had not signed the spending bills.
