Well on one hand you say schedule don’t matter but stats do, so which is it. Like the poster said before it’s 0 to 0 on the scoreboard at the first of the game. Threw all those stats and games out the door because none of them mean anything now. Who comes out and executes the best and don’t make mistakes will win this game but I am a for Belfry but that’s just me and hope they win. I know some on here is for Bell and that’s fine,too but most know or at least they should on a lot of these games the first team didn’t play a whole game or at least some don’t but dont know about Bell because I didn’t watch their games. Plus really didn’t watch a lot of Belfry’s either but I know Coach Haywood and what he does.

I agree and have in several post thru out the year that some of teams played aren't very good but ok so we are the weakest 3 a team in the state luckily 14 and 0 and playing a very good Belfry team we prob don't even need to waste our trip then:Clap:

Our defense is good , maybe not Belfry good we have a guy over 300 he is a load and another who can lift as much as a o lineman who weighs about 205 ! We have been against a couple hard defenses . Harlan county is as strong as anyone up front ! We scrimmaged Johnson central there a whole different level and also summer set!! Taylor has 2 of the best players in 24 and 21 . They really impressed me! I think Knox started out a lot stronger had some injuries that really hurt them ! No one is doubting Belfry they have proven time and time again their legit. I truly believe Bell is better than everyone thinks ! Most people on here hate Dudley and will never cheer for Bell and that is ok . We will be there ready and give it everything we got win or loose and enjoy the moment!!

O I am not butt hurt at all and maybe one of the most laid back people you will ever meet and that why I said appreciate your input I have seen some teams lose first 4 or 5 games and win state title because of their schedule I personally wished all teams where competitive don't got a clue how to fix that but I get what you are saying

This team has been through a lot but from day one I told everyone just watch that defense is nasty and Big Ethan and Cochran has the O-line playing at a very high level.

You’re right. 👍🏼 The adversity this team has faced since July has been off the charts. Despite all that, they’ve grown, matured, dealt with the ups and downs, and bulled their necks and gotten better. I agree with your assessment of our O-Line....Wolford and Cochran have been excellent senior leaders and have helped that entire line develop a nasty streak. Let me say this... Belfry has faced some EXCEPTIONAL D-Lines this season....Kettering Alter, Johnson Central, Pikeville LCA, Ashland and DeSales....with DeSales being the single best D-Line I’ve seen in 3A in a few years. Our O-Line has had some growing pains.....but they've matured and are really playing as a cohesive unit right now.

Both teams are vying for the state championship. Tough roads, easy roads....lets give it all a break. The Bell Co kids and Belfry Kids have earned their way to Kroger Field. Give respect where respect is due. They’re the only two teams left. Two historic coaches. Two historic programs. Let’s get it on!!

I agree and disagree. It doesn’t matter who ya played because you’re playing each other now. But at the same time I honestly believe it does. Playing a tough schedule is almost like practicing. If you practice against your middle school team all year you might get better, but not as good as a team that doesn’t have players going both ways and the #1s on offense can go against the #1s on D. Same thing with past games. You gain that experience to help you progress your skills. It doesn’t mean bell hasn’t gotten better since the start of the year, but I’d bet the farm belfry has gotten better from where they started compared to bell. So in a way it does matter for this week. And it goes further than that, close game situations for example. A kid that has been in them over the season will have that experience to help him keep his exposure during that type of game. The list goes on and on. So I believe that advantage along with belfrys defense and strong running game is what will push them over the top for this one. Both teams have had a good year. But IMO belfry will end theirs on a win.

Team sidelines can be found at KHSAA.org beginning Monday, December 2. Opponents are TBD. Information about the KHSAA State Football Tournament can be found at KHSAA.org.

Reserved seating (ages 2 and under free) is located in the Woodford Reserve Club and Field Club (sections 25-27). All other seating is general admission (ages 6 and under free). Accessible seating is located in the general admission area of the lower west endzone. Kroger Field will be cleared after each game. Gates will open 1 hour prior to the game.
