A person definitely shouldn't throw stones when they live in a glass house and play against a bunch of cupcakes. Bell County is Numero Uno.

Hey. I didn’t bring up DeSales schedule until he brought up ours. Sooooooo.

Bell County is a premier team this year and playing excellent football right now. Peaking at just the right time!

It's difficult to win on Flag Mountain, but we're still going to though!!!

Bell by 20. Bears will make them earn it.

Rather it's a voluntary position where some give of their time and talents (not me on the talent part) to try and supervise posters. Sometimes, it feels a lot like trying to control spoiled kindergarteners.

We aren't SS troopers who strike down people who choose to use different ranking programs. That isn't under the guidelines of BGR regs.

So no matter if/how much the mods disagree with posters, if it's not breaking any rules, we are not going to act.

Bell county sure isn't #1
Look at Bell co. Schedule and look at belfry's schedule.
#39
In two years all you have to do is call Ole Dud and tell him you like to schedule. He doesn’t dodge people and he will play.
Before Dud came back to Bell, they were 1-9 the program was at a all time low just like ours. Dud and Larry are program builders!

They sure are and you sure ain't. look at your schedule.

Not much to say here other than two solid teams respectively but , there’s a difference between a team that’s on the rise , and a team that’s a state favorite
Bell Co 38
Harlan Co 20

This should be a good game and closer than some think. I see people talking blowout and how the starters will get a little playing time before playoffs. Who knows it may be a blowout. It’s hard to judge Bell because they’ve only played one team with a pulse and that was Knox which HC also beat. It is on flag mountain so that’ll be 14 that HC will have to overcome also. I think bell wins but i also don’t think it’ll be a blowout like some seem to think. I do think Bells schedule or lack thereof will come to haunt them deep in the playoffs against a Belfry or someone like that.

I think they can

Bell by 10.

Looks like ole Dud May be on a collision course to face the true Legend over on Pond Creek. I’ve always wanted to go to a Belfry game at pond creek and if Bell was to happen to have to go I’m gonna make that trip. My son and our school has had some classics with the pirates over the years at state, can’t see Bell shining a light to the pirates this season but will be fun to watch the legend win another one this year.

I agree with changing the thread title to reflect what voters here think. But I can assure you the mods do a great job here, and they do it for free

Wouldn’t that game be at Bell because of RPI.

I do appreciate the moderators. I know it's a thankless job without any perks. I know sometimes they feel like kindergarten teachers. I also know this issue has been addressed before. If I remember correctly, the thread starter was told that if he wanted to quote rankings then he should be using the ones that are here on BGR.

If he wants to quote the AP polls, then add that to your thread.

What's the use of having a ranking system on this board, if posters aren't going to follow it?

At this point, I don't care anymore. They can hang their hat on the AP all they want. At some point either us, CAL, Mercer, or Belfry will line up against them, and then they will see, that that pathetic schedule, which is no fault of the kids I might add, hasn't prepared them.

You haven't watched Whitley County play if you think they have no pulse. They'd give Knox Central way more than they want. Bourbon County beat Knox Central.

I agree totally don't see a blow out either as far as the rest of it I agree somewhat but schedule or not if you are good you are good if you aren't then you aren't especially if bell was just skipping by on those games but they have done what you are suppose to take care of business and they have done that thus far I am not going to say Bell is going to win it all but at this point they got as good of chance as any 3A TEAM IN THE STATE!!!

No one really cares what you think colt pride and I hope we do line up against you . I am so sick of your mouth trash talking my sons team ! If we loose then I will say our boys gave it there all and congratulations to who ever wins ! But this constant bashing our team gets old and I try really hard to ignore it . We do have a good team and some really good athletes. Win or loose you will remember you played us . That’s all I will say about this ! If we don’t win only team I will pull for besides us is Belfry and if they beat us they will beat you!!!

They are the best team and gonna spank you so you might as well quit whining about it and accept it.

You clearly do care or you wouldn't constantly be on here about it. I don't need to bad mouth your team to build my team up, but it will all be settled on the field in a few weeks, and its as long a bus ride as your team as taken in years, I wouldn't get too cocky when you might have to take one to Log Mountain. Long ride, new environment, hostile crowd, you won't exactly be walking in to a bed and breakfast at Bell County.

Not sure about all these blowout projections. I will be very shocked if we run through Harlan County like water through a screen door. Eddie does a great job with his Black Bears and always has his kids fired up for Bell. I'm gonna say we get out of it with a 35-14 win in a very physical game. Bell needs to be hit in the mouth a little bit cause it hasn't happened since we went to Whitley week 5. As for all the racket about which ranking system to use, who cares. Obviously our diehards are going to use whichever one has us higher, and the other teams diehards will use whichever one has them higher. In other words, the argument is never ending and I for one hate reading through it all the time. We are a very good football team this year, regardless of schedule. We are 9-0 but by watching us practice you'd think we were 0-9 because Master Dudley knows better than anyone it doesn't matter how good we think we are if we don't continue to work hard and get better every single week.

Ahhh, we took a trip to Paducah Tighlman this year. Beat the # 1 ranked RPI team 49-14.

Harlan has some very talented boys , well coached ! It will be a good game . I agree with you rankings mean nothing , I don’t care who is ranked # 1 . Just focus on one game at a time .

If your so sensitive, then maybe a message board isn't for you. No one is bashing your team, myself, and others are bashing the schedule that your team has played. It's bad. That's a fact. Not the kids fault. They can only play who's lined up in front of them. I would also expect nothing less, than Your mountain teams, supporting the other mountain teams. They should. Just as I would support the other Louisville, and Western Ky teams. This board has a Eastern Kentucky flavor to it, just as the other has more of a Louisville, Northern Kentucky flavor, doesn't mean either one is wrong.

I agree myself I like the tougher schedules it doesn't give you time to get to laid back but some of your post you think we are not a good team and My friend we are a pretty solid Team that's what my argument is and Ranking are nothing but someone's opinions and whether we come to your place or you come to ours it will be 2 good teams buckling up and going at it win lose or draw and anyone that knows high school football knows that there are some good teams from east and the west!!!
