Raceland @ Ashland 10-4

anotherfootballnut Wrote:Raceland has beaten Rowan co and Portsmouth west who are a staggering 5-6 combined since getting and I quote from their fearless leader “ teeth kicked in by Russell ” which they were down 14-0 when their QB went out so if some want take two wins against very weak teams a moral victory have it partner . After Ashland beats them badly some won’t be back in here for couple of weeks it’s their MO

Nope sure can’t , Noah still has friends on the team , it’s amazing when I pick them to win nothing is said but as soon as I don’t agree with under the sideline doc I get comments from people , kind of funny isn’t it I know he has two names in here does he have 3 now or more ?

The combined win lose total of Irontons opposition is pretty poor itself and will only get worse as the play in that stellar OVC! Let’s stop belittling teams cause there is no superior team in this area this year and that includes teams from across the river!
Oh Really?

Just look southward, right across the Lawrence Co. line...Nobody else is even close!!

I afraid it was 14-0 when he went out, and why do you keep bringing ironton into it Ive not said they are the best team around I’ve not compared them to any team in ky I will if you want but I’ve see no reason to , I agree 100 percent the OVC is terrible very bad But what’s your point , when Raceland is playing Rowan co , Portsmouth west , Fairview , Betsy layne , you can’t make fun of anyone’s schedule

Weather will be perfect. That RAM D better show up ready to play or Hester and Pittman will embarrass them.

It was 7-0 when he went out.

Same difference , you take me way to serious I would like nothing more than Raceland to beat Ashland I can’t stand Ashland but IMO I just don’t see it , I’ve watched both Russell and Ashland play , Ashland’s offensive is better than Russell’s and their defense is close and we seen what happened against Russell

sidelinedoc Wrote:It was 7-0 when he went out.

He was in the dang game , turned the ball over on downs Russell drove down and scored making it 14-0 the first play he missed Raceland was down 14-0

Says the guy who's team refuses to continue playing because they are tired of being beaten to a pulp and continually humiliated....

Come to Johnson County and play chicken boy and see who gets embarrassed.

You cluckmasters sure are big talkers...

Hilarious how arrogant you clucksters are when you trash talk Single A schools. But then again, you live and die playing inferior teams...(Not that Raceland is an inferior team), but serious Class 3A or 4A teams have no business scheduling Single A schools. Yet it's amazing how many times that Raceland has embarrassed ASH-land.

You arrogant loser cluckers have no shame.

So Belfry, who who just got beat by 1a Pikeville, has no business playing them? Maybe your right.
Belfry may have one less lose if they hadn't scheduled them.

Raceland is hardly Pikeville. And I mean no offence to Raceland, because they have far more guts when it comes to playing tougher competition than ASH-land could ever muster. You dont see them chickening away from a tough opponent. Bottom line, no cluckers at Raceland. Them playing ASH-land is the equivalent to ASH-land playing Male, St X, or Trinity if you go by classes. Understand the direction here? ... It's pretty obvious that ASH-land needs Johnson Central way more than Johnson Central needs ASH-land if ASH-land ever wants to go anywhere. But then again, ASH-land chickened out of playing Belfry too, didn't they?

How many state championships for Belfry is that in the last 10 years again? That's in part a direct result of a brutal overall schedule.

Ever wonder why ASH-land hasn't went anywhere in the last 2 decades? They played nobody who could get them ready for any team out of Johnson County....If you remember it took Johnson County boys to even make them a second tier 4A halfway competitive contender for the last 4 years.

Raceland is competitive with Ashland most years. I would say that Ashland would have a running clock on them with the teams you mentioned EVERY GAME!

Thanks for making my point, that is exactly what I was saying. Apparently my intent went over your head..lol….They SHOULD NOT be competitive.

Raceland has the guts to take on a team that SHOULD be a heavy favorite because of class size, but yet ASH-land has no desire to take on anyone who is assumed to be a favorite..But yet you have these arrogant and nutty ASH-land fans coming on here and trash talking small enrollment schools who have the guts to do something that their team doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to engage in themselves.

All I know is that when Raceland and Belfry scrimmaged.....it was a toe to toe slobberknocker. Raceland made a lot of Belfry folks believers. they have a very nice team. Granted the game was a scrimmage....but regardless.....Raceland will punch you in the mouth...and be happy about it.

Good Luck Rams!

But then again, this is not the Belfry of recent, this year.

Maybe not. But Belfry is still Belfry. Being a Belfry fan.....I know ....heck we all know that the run of talent we’ve had doesn’t happen too often for a program of our size. However....u know when u line up against the Pirates, typically you’re in for a long night. Regardless what year it is 😂😂. Just sayin’ that Raceland played well....and gave back everything they got....and then some. I think most of us Pirate fans were impressed.

Tbh, that scrimmage is one of the reasons why my mind shifted a little be in our preseason expectations. I knew we had plenty if speed and a solid QB. But there were alot of question Mark's upfront, in the backfield, and at LB and what type of iver all team physicality would be. When we played well and held our own with Belfry I felt like we would be fine. Then we manhandled 5A Montgomery Co in the grid. Then came the greenup and Russell games. The greenup game had me and many others thinking Greenup was better than anticipated and tbh were a few dropped balls from winning that game, then the Russell game happened and I nearly lost all hope. But we have bounced back even though injuries and went toe to toe with a Pikeville team that I expected to beat us by 3 or 4 scores, without our QB1 and then lost our QB2 early in the game and went to our emergency QBs. My expectations have never changed so much through the course of the season. But imo, tonight's game should pretty well solidify those expectations one way or another. Win or lose, this game should tell us a bit about what the post season will hold. I also want to add that I am extremely proud of Hughes, Rowsey, and Cox for how they have stepped up in the absence of Heighton.

And you just know that if that were to happen it will be because the refs screwed them.

Hook....SET! You crack me up Bobbie...always have. I would like to thank you for your comments though as well as taking the bait. Your message however is a tad stale and predictable. Kinda like watching one of those little windup monkeys clanging a set of cymbals...cute at first but after a while....meh, not so much.

You’ve demonstrated a genuine sense of humor which implies a whiff of intelligence exists between those ears of yours. Betting if you try hard, you might come up with some new material. Whaddya say Bobbie? I’ll hang up and listen:popcorn:
