13th Region summer Ball
So where are the 2 from Red Bird actually at now?
Red Bird, as far as I know.
Come on guys it’s football season. Let’s get going hard on October 15th (I think) is when basketball starts. I know it’s a basketball thread, but Oneida, Red Bird and Barbourville don’t have football. I wonder how many OPEN GYM practices they have🤔

As many as they want::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I guess they do go back and forth — Callebs to Bell and Phipps to Pineville
I see where the Phipps boy from Bell went to Pineville. Big loss for Bell. That kid has a big upside!
Not sure why Phipps left Bell. Several kids have left Bell recently.
Who is Phipps?
Did he play for Smith last year?
Junior forward - about 6-5 - started last year
Phipps is a big loss. Bell has lost a ton of talent in the last several years. Keeping basketball talent has been a problem for a long time.
I wonder why Bell has lost so many basketball kids!
I think they just lost one this year.
It seems like they have lost several possible impact players in the past few years.
As a result, they have finished last in the district the past few years. Does not look any more promising for the upcoming season.
Phipps is a game changer inside especially with the graduation of the other big boy last year. Great young talent with Sophomore class can’t make up for Phipps presence inside.

I think Pineville would take that trade with open arms. Not sure who Callebs is, but Phipps is a baller inside.
Any updates on transfers or incoming players now that school started back

Who all showed up at Oneida Baptist ?:biggrin::biggrin:
Not heard a lot. Maybe a player from Annville. But should know for sure tomorrow after I talk with coach.
Phipps is a major blow to Bell's basketball program. Big pick up for Pineville
I’m hearing they did get the kid from Anniville. That will make them top three in region, if they can play together.

I agree, Oneida can and will be a contender if All stay and they play together.

It would be comical to see OBI be good and Clay miss the region for a third straight year. Maybe Clay will vote for the random seeding?
That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard. But they have to prove they can win. They have the talent, but still need to show they can win.
They have to prove they can win?
Sounds like they just have to show up at the regional with all the talk this summer. You guys have ramped up some pressure on OBI.
I’d say they could care less what everyone is saying. They won a lot this summer without two starters. And now one of the better players in region. Just saying.
Who is at school that will actually play for OBI this season? So much talk about people coming and going that I can't keep up. This is what I have:

Elijah Woods (17.2, 7.8)
Sochi Onuoha (19.1, 6.7)
Tyler Preston (8.5, 2.3)
Wayne Estep (10.3, 2.1)
Austin Simpson
Hamilton Taropo (2.2)
Isaiah Marcum
The new kid will play and start. Not sure his name. I think maybe Hall.
Plus with just returning players they got over 90% of scoring back. Plus added Simpson and I think his name is hall.
Yeah, played at Clay as a freshman.
Thanks - that clears up the picture some for their lineup.
