Like to join you boys at wild wings. That would be worth a long trip from here in Tn. If jp's getting the tab, that would be even better., Dougie you could bring some of that bar b cue so we can try it out. Sounds like that good stuff would be a deal that even Cass Walker couldn't beat. Btw, Dougie. That Cass Walker clip was alright.

Pikeville wins big in this one, I don’t see any type of passing game developing for Williamsburg with Watkins, Billiter, Pugh, and Hensley all in the secondary. As for Burg’s run game, I see #41 ending it quickly.
Offensively for the panthers, take those four again and I don’t see Williamsburg stopping them.
Pikeville is a disciplined team offensively and defensively and have started clicking these past few weeks, I’m excited to see how they perform against solid competition like Williamsburg.
I pick Pikeville in this one 35-14

That's how I see it too Pikeville secondary is very very good but I see Pikeville getting more than 35...
Not just 41 but 33 34 28 and others and the line shutting down the run. But Williamsburg is good they won't go down without a fight.

I'll take Pikeville by 17.

At this stage in the game all the teams can play. Survive and advance is what all teams are looking for. 1 game at a time

Jackets in a laugher :flame:

Hopefully the Jackets keep rolling, however this is going to be a tough task.

No doubt ol floppy gargantuan melons will close early Friday evening to make it to his beloved Tiger game. I think i'd be tempted to slip a pint of Jim Beam in my coat before i locked up. Gonna be so COLD , those melons might freeze.

I think Pikeville wins this one. Now my knowledge of this matchup is more on the Wburg side than it is Pikeville. But seeing what the panthers have done, with what I know about Wburg it’s hard not to go with them. Now I will say this, Wburg isn’t Lynn camp. This isn’t going to be an “easy” game at all. And Wburg will put up some points. Yes I know, PHS defense is solid. But Wburg has a high octane offense. It won’t be enough to come out as region champs, but Pikeville better be ready for a fight. I’d say it’ll be somewhere around 44-24.

Have to agree with Hound05, Williamsburg does have a good offense and the quarterback is very effective in running the offense. Pikeville’s defense has to be disciplined in their rush and read their keys. The defensive backs have to stay in coverage because he will break out of the pocket and threw on the run. Going to be a challenge for the defense but with these bunch of Panthers I believe they will handle it. It’s going to take all of them doing their jobs to hold their offense down. Have a lot of faith in these young men but as always GO PANTHERS!!!

I can’t wait until Friday night. I have watched these films until I have analyzed this game every way it could possible to turn out. It’s gave me headache, so the heck with it let these young men play it out and I will be there to cheer for them and Hollow at the Refs. As always GO PANTHERS!!!

Pikeville on a collision course with Beechwood.

Panthers 42
Jackets 14

Panthers has to come out and play with intensity at start of game. Don't have a let down or make mental mistakes. I don't think Williamsburg can win in a shootout with both teams high scoring offence. Pikeville's pass defense and end rush by #41 will be best they played this year. As long as Pikeville plays smart football and don't overthink it, players and coaches, Pikeville wins by 18+
#82
Panthers seem to be playing better the past few weeks, granted the level of competition has not been the highest the past few weeks. I think they are peaking at the right time.

Williamsburg is peaking at the right time also but I think the Panthers will ultimately be too much for the Jackets too handle but Williamsburg has a very good program that will put points on the board.

Pikeville 54
Williamsburg 28

Not trying to hijack the thread, but can any Williamsburg’s fans tell me how this team stacks up against the team mayfield beat in OT at the state championship game? Williamsburg was very, very good that year, their QB and receivers were awesome !

And now Rb Kyle Davis is back after a year being on the disabled list. With that said..........I’m going with Williamsburg

That was a very special team. This years team is kind of like the 2013 team they had. I do however think this team this year has a lot more balance than in the passing game distributing ball very evenly.

Then it would be hard to pick against them.

Possibly. But I don’t think the best team made it in 2013. In 2014 Williamsburg was 2-3 TDS better than the rest.

Except Pikeville has one of their strongest pass Ds in years. Very hard to find a weak spot in their coverage.
