As far as my job, I will just say that I have a lot of time to break down film. I usually provide a report on Fridays that breaks down opponents tendencies. Such as, how many times they run out a certain formation and percentages to which side. How many times they throw and if there is a preference of target. It gets pretty detailed. We have even been known to check with local families to see if a Players has had any recent illnesses or what they are eating. We even try to find out how well players are hydrating to see if we can get them into cramping issues. You factor those things in with the IMTU scale and by the end of the week, you will be able to determine anything that may happen in a game. You don’t think we could go almost a whole decade without losing more than 1 game on average each year without studies do you?

Boss, the IMTU system has a algorithm (so I was told by someone several years ago) but how it works is a question for someone more familiar with the IMTU system or computers I would assume. That is why I stated at the beginning of my last post "For those who like this sort of thing" or somthing like that. To add to the mysteries, The Lithouse has us over Corbin as well and Cantrell has Corbin over us. If you go CalPreps and do the head to head challenge it has MF winning. I think MaxPreps has Corbin higher. I will say this and #55 and some others can back me up on this, I can only recall the IMTU system missing the game winner a couple of times in the last 5 years so I feel it is a very accurate source but anything can happen so we will all have to wait until Fri Night to find out.

That’s one where we messed up slightly. To be honest, the whole bunch here didn’t go through the normal procedures for that game. It’s the first time in at least 10 years that I can remember us not breaking down film and using the IMTU. We felt like we knew exactly what the Ads had and were not concerned. We felt that CAL was the real test. But, we will never make that mistake again. Even if we are playing Webster County. It almost cost some people dearly.

I enjoy your enthusiasm, but how do your score that. Mf averages 40 points a game and gives up 21 against in state competition with a overall record of like 7-11. Corbin averages somewhere like 27 def given up like 9.1 ( including our jv and freshman) and played two defending state champs from other classes. I could see you’ll scoring in the teens but us scoring in the twenties by real life no keyboard numbers. I get that technology has its place in sports, but what you have played and what we have played is two very different schedules. Granted Whitley has a bad record but all the other teams we have played are pretty good programs and I only see pt as your only test this season. I guess what I am getting to is you give up more than half of what you score. We give up 1/3 to what we score. Your defense gives up points so we will get ours, our defense is stingy and I don’t see you’ll scoring as you usually do.

Mayfield avg. 47.2 a game an gives up 20.2. Like I stated 28 of that 103 was on the 2nd an 3rd string.. Corbin only played one game were iv was in the game... our jv has played every game but the unioncity game which I might add was the defending state champs as well... an who would probably still be again if they hadn't been hit hard by the injury bug... every game we have played we could hung another 10-30 points on Opponents except the unioncity game an that was only bc it was the 1st game of the year an we were working bugs out an trying new things... two teams on our schedule have suffered the injury bug which has led to askued records... but what ever ...ha.. Corbin been giving up 12.75 pts per game an scoring 33
