My point exactly, it isn't a bell county thing. It's a Dudley thing. I have a question, did he refuse to let people in the press box at Taylor county?

WHY ARE THEY LEAVING YOUR PROGRAM. Its one simple question.... Their not getting paid to do it, so why?
All you supporters of cheating say the same things. everybody that doesn't cheat is butt hurt and you don't have to recruit because you are great and all the kids 30 miles want play for your great program . several of you argue but in your heart you know that's a big ole pile of BS :hilarious::hilarious:

Not trying to sound arrogant. But if we werenât great, why would the kids come? It ainât the scenery!! Theyâre coming because they want to be a winner, the program, and maybe the coach. Coach Cal is the best recruiter out there, but if heâs coaching at Alice loyd, he ainât getting good talent. You have to have kids that want to come here. If the kids want to come here is that recruiting? To me no. But recruiting can be a relative term. But there isnât really any point arguing it anymore, no side will change the others view and NO one one here can provide creditable proof.

We all know why they come and we all know that a kid ain't desperate to drive 25-30 miles to play for a different high school. We all know that an area the size of Jellico or Pineville or the little wide spot in the road near West Virginia doesn't have the talent to compete for a state championship and produce division 1 players every single year. it's a big ole pile of BS like I said but no point of me arguing either because we all know the supporters of winning with somebody else's players is just going to argue to the end. lol. of course nobody can prove it. that's why it continues.

Harlan County coaches got to be in the press box and also the Play Clocks started working on the multi million dollar facility at Log Mountain. I guess it just took until Week 10 to get everything in order.

Just because you got a kid that is used to being catered to doesn't mean there is any politics going on at North Laurel more so than any other school that's a recruiting pitch too but nice try...
Call it what you may, facts are this is the second kid in the last five years who has come from North Laurel to Corbin and immediately played and had a big impact on our team. Yet neither one of these kids could get past the sideline at North, if thatâs not politics then someone needs to help your coach evaluate his talent better!!

Thats why school like Pineville and Jellico don't compete for state championships. But in reference to Belfry, it's about grooming your talent from youth league and middle school into high school. The teams that compete year in and year out are the ones with great feeder programs and good coaches, it's simple as that. Fans and schools with coaches that don't understand that like to cry recruiting because their players see their peers playing in November then working in the weight room all winter and spring and they want to be a part of a winning tradition.

I agree with you that politics is what has ruined several schools over the years including Whitley County, but claiming some schools don't illegally recruit players from other schools is pure BS and you know it is. lol

Bell County High School which is at Pineville did compete for state championships and Jellico would do the same if they had several players to transfer in every year from across the mountain.

Bell county high school pulls from the entire county, and has reciprocal agreements with both middlesboro and pineville. Why would you want to play at pineville and lose in the first round every year when you can play for a chance at a ring every year? Itâs simple really, good coaches that work hard and know how to win draw in kids. Same thing with Lynn camp and Corbin.

Of course it happens at every school, you may not be doing it but kids and parents from every school do it. All Iâm saying is I highly doubt anyone was scouring Norths side line last year looking for a kid that never played, kinda makes you wonder why North is making all the fuss about it?

Haves and have nots!!! They want what they donât have and theyâll slander anyone who does. If the kid didnât play youâre exactly right, whatâs the big deal? If itâs all about the kids, then everyone should be happy. Back to the original topic. Bell you have about 2 days of happiness left.

Seems to be a lot of whining on Forums involved with Corbin. Not sure if it's coincidence or not 🤔
11-08-2017, 08:43 PM
It's not a coincidence, it's hatred. Everybody in the tri county area hates Corbin, we love it that way. Us against everybody. The hatred is so strong for Corbin that north and south Laurel ban together in what they call "Corbin hate week". It's quite impressive that the envy of Corbin can unite two schools that hate each other for 51 weeks out of the year. Too many beat downs and stolen girlfriends I guess.

This is 100% accurate. They hate us cause the ainât us. Thatâs the program I grew up in and I wouldnât want it changed for anything. There isnât another althetic program in eastern ky thatâs better. People call us arrogant, itâs not arrogance, itâs pride. So keep on hating, keep on making accusations, itâs only gonna get worse for everyone we play and everyone around us.
