Jason McDaniel has resigned as head coach of the Corbin Lady Redhound basketball program. Jason McDaniel has resigned as head coach of the Corbin Lady Redhound basketball program. McDaniel compiled a 73-53 record during his four years at Corbin while also guiding the Lady Redhounds to three 50th District championships (2014,15 and 16) and one 13th Region championship (2014). A story of McDaniel's resignation will be in the Wednesday edition of the Times-Tribune.

He played baseball and basketball at Corbin, graduating around 10 yrs ago. He went on to play baseball at Georgetown, then helped Happy Osborne at Georgetown(I think) and was also an asst at Montgomery Co. He is now an asst coach for the girls team at Mercer Co.

Former Corbin player. Played somewhere in college maybe Lindsey Wilson or something like that. I could look it up but I'm too lazy. Graduated around 2010 or something i think.

One of his assistants will be an ex head coach in the region. Haven't heard if he will have anymore.
