Very possible score if Williamsburg puts up 14 it will most likely come late! I can see a possible TD early and MAYBE one after the main starters are pulled in the fourth! Even then it will be tough! Paintsvilles D is pretty rough on QB's! Makes for a long night!

Paintsville will be 2-3 touchdowns ahead of every team they play until the 3rd or 4th week of the playoffs.

Best chance Bourbon or Raceland have of being tied with the Tigers will be at kick off when it's 0-0!!

You ain't wasting no time this year with your bold predictions. Is this another attempt at giving Paintsville's opponents something to pin up on the bulletin board to look at everyday, like last year when you started the "Paintsville and their 2015 State Championship" thread?

If that prediction puts us to another undefeated season and another crack at state semis then keep them Roll'n Pulp!! Last years thread was SOOO FAR OFF it was ludacris!! ^^^ Lol

Paintsville coming in #1 in Class A... Williamsburg is more than likely an underrated football team. Their Quarterback leads Class A in passing.. Still think Tigers win.
Paintsville 45
Williamsburg 6

If we go undefeated again and win the Region again, great, I ain't gonna complain. Hopefully we'll take it a couple steps further.

stop the read option with QB and Phelps - - Okay Okay easier said than done.
We knew Phelps was a stud RB - I was impressed with their QB ability to wiggle out those extra yards .

Morris is an extremely gifted athlete and has done an outstanding job at QB! I think he has really proven himself capable of stepping up into that leadership role! I miss watching him on defense but it's also kinda nice to have a QB not Playing both sides and getting banged up! We've already had one 3 year starter brought down to injury, just hope the boys stay healthy and not just for us but for all of our teams. Pikeville has already had an impactful running back go down and sounds like fairview has had more than their share already!

I'm being serious... I really think Paintsville will go untested in the regular season. Looking at their schedule, I don't see anybody that should give them problems. I know anything can happen, but on paper, they should go 10-0 again.

I agree with Pulp! Anything can happen BUT it appears good! High output offense and defense has been Very Strong! As long as Paintsville stays healthy and goes out every Friday night and executes, this could be their year!

as bad as I hate to say it.. Paintsville should take this one from the Burg. The Burg is still searching for identity and seem to have players out of some positions in my opinion, but..."anybody can beat anybody on any given day" Go Big Orange!

Tigers win it 46-14 on the road

The Burg in my opinion should use RB Darrell White more as a receiver. I noticed in the stats he has only caught 6 passes this year......Does he ever get to play receiver anymore or just RB.....:HitWall::HitWall::HitWall:

I haven't seem White line up at receiver, but Ponder, Rose, Hawn, Brown and Mattingly give them a nice group of receivers...

That is a good group of receivers and a young receiving group future looks bright for Williamsburg. :Cheerlead

Williamsburg by 3. With a late field goal

I think Williamsburg could be a "sleeper" in 1A this year. The Yellow jackets are improving with every passing week and they have played a competitive schedule, which will only prepare them for November. Paintsville on the other hand, looks to be the favorite in 1A at this time. I really think Williamsburg will play with Paintsville and they will give the Tigers all they want in this matchup. I think Paintsville is coming off an emotional win and they could come out a little flat. On the other hand, Williamsburg will be ready to try to prove themselves against the #1 team in 1A. With that being said, I look for Paintsville to "squeak out" a win, but it will be a hard fought win. Paintsville wins 34-27. Good luck to both teams.

I kinda agree with you 64sur... I think I know what the coach is doing with putting White back there, it allows him another blocker for the QB, but in my opinion, your wasting talent. White is a receiver that will get up and snatch a pass out of the air for ya (like a basketball player getting after a rebound) and totally agree w/ old jacket when saying there are some fine young receivers already there helping but you have to use White so he can make a play for you and that is no disrespect of the young talented receivers they are using.. it just allows another option with the spread. With that being said, what do you do to help protect the QB?

I don't if would consider a 38-0 win over Ridgeview VA an "emotional" win.

Tigers win big

They definitely need to get the ball in Whites hands more often...
