Hazard may have a shot in this one. But I'm going to say Pikeville 35-14

Panther Highlights from the Week 6 (aka the last time PHS Punted) Match up. Expect another hard fought game in this series.

Pikeville 56-21

Mac and staff have done a great job this year spreading it around more, limiting the pounding he and the others have had to take, and made the offense a little harder to game plan against. Battaille's development at QB has played a large part in that success as well. The vertical game has to be respected with him under center, not just the screen game. I hate to just single him out because Dials did a good job too. It's been fun to watch this team grow this year.
And he is a huge threat running as well, adding another dimension. Averaging 16 yds a carry with 4 rushing TDs + whatever he got against Williamsburg. Looks like a veteran running the offense, very smooth. Just an excellent dual-threat weapon.

I agree JP he looks very comfortable playing the QB position , if hazard can get there run game going I think they have a chance they was only down a touchdown 28-21 in the third and couldn't play any worse in the 1st and 2nd quarter the turnover on 4 down in the red zone killed hazard if they would've scored the game is tied 28-28 that being said I'm going to take Pikeville 36-28 Hazard

Make no mistake, Hazard is tough. But I would be willing to bet half their 1st downs came on penalties in the first game. Additionally, the turnover discrepancy wasn't huge. It was +2 for Pikeville in that game (one INT and two FR for Pikeville vs one FR for Hazard). But I will agree, mentally, that fumble at the goal line was huge.

Look at the highlights of that game Panther Thunder posted and see how Pikeville was scoring easily and at will on Hazard. Pikeville had almost 600 yards of offense in that game and who knows how much more negated by penalties the refs were calling on nearly every play. Hazard QB actually hurt Pikeville with the run last time. I think Pikeville cleans that up and Hazard will actually have to stay in the game throwing the ball. Also remember Hazard has to come to Pikeville this time. Prediction: another statement coming by the Panthers.

Hazard hurt Pikeville with the run in the first half last game. I don't think they even get that going this time. Panthers in a blowout. May put that clock on cardio again. Panthers Par-tay another week.

Pikeville comfortably.

Would love to see Hazard win this one but don't think it will happen. Hazard has overcome a lot of injuries and had a great season but Pikeville is too tough this year.
Pikeville 46 Hazard 28
Pikeville 46 Hazard 28

Expecting a close game in this one! Should it be? Nope! Pikeville should have NO problems against Hazard Friday night but something's telling me it's gonna be tuff! Keeping in mind it's Playofffs! Crazy things happen! Hopefully I'm wrong! So far the Panthers appear to be rolling along like a well oiled machine! I'd much rather see Pikeville win by 50!!

You should make adjustments.

Tilghman chokes every year and you keep picking them.

They beat hazard this year 56-28so if that was under the Dixon era then yes they have beaten hazard under Dixon. I think pikeville will repeat in this game Pugh is to much of a horse to stop. He has been running over everybody they have played he gave Paintsville a good workout I think they got lucky the first time they played if they get by Paris and play again will be a totally different game.

I know they beat Hazard in the regular season under Dixon but I'm talking about Playoff time in which Jet said no and I thought I was right and I think they've met 3 times in the playoffs.

Be a tight 3 qtr game but the 4th qtr will turn into a track meet (again) and Pikeville wins by 28+

Pugh is healthy, as of now he is averaging 10.8 yards per carry and scoring every 4.5 carries.

It's nice to have Pugh running like he did early in the season, a QB and receivers finding their groove, line playing well on both sides of the ball, D playing loose and with confidence, etc. We are seeing the Pikeville we all expected to see and peaking at the right time. I'm especially impressed with their mental fortitude. Any adverse situations they've dealt with very well on the field.

Panthers to much speed for Hazard. To many athletes.
