I left knowing that Knox Central was kicking Corbin a**. Went to my car to listen to the Whitley vs Leslie game and Williamsburg vs Middlesboro game. Congratulations Knox County Central :Cheerlead

Knox is really good and are strong up front!!!
Radio said that's the first time Knox has ever beat Corbin. Is that true?

Kc is for real and they have been for years.. To bad bell won't play knox anymore .. But then again if they did Wayne mills would hire a kid to take Doolittle out like he did Barger!!!

Thought this game would be closer than this. Knox is a solid TEAM.

Corbin's not really a threat in 3A

I wouldn't say that I think they just ran into a buzzsaw tonight.

Great win for Knox and yes they probably would do the same to us.. But they had there opportunity last year and it didn't happen..

Wow, thought they would win but..........wow!

Knox has beat Central and Corbin, two of the top 3A teams, this year. Maybe they should petition the KHSAA to move to 3A.

Nahhh why would we want to drop down to one of the toughest classes in the state.. we have had our fill of the likes lexington Catholic, Boyle County for the last few years. Staying in 4a gives us the best chance to get to Bowling Green now that those two teams and Highlands have moved on to other classes.

As good as the Panther offense was last night, the defense held Corbin to only 2 first downs.

We should start playing all our home games at Campbell field in Corbin. Beating L. Central and Corbin there feels alright. LOL.
All I can say is seeing Casey score the TD was AAAWWSOMEE. The only bad part is this. Now both my sons have scored a TD playing DE. Of course, I played that silly position in HS and College longer than them both and might have recovered a fumble... LOL. No TD's for me.
Let's keep rolling KC. The days of Corbin players looking down at you are over. You played the toughest schedule the school has ever played. It worked. Week 10 shows that you are at your peak and ready to get it done in the playoffs. Let's go.

Good win for Knox. I listened on the radio while switching back and forth from the Whitley game. Corbin just never showed up.
After those two early scores by Knox, it was kind of like Corbin said screw it this one doesn't matter anyways.
This is what worried me about Corbin. I think everyone knows they are just as good or better than Knox, but they just aren't giving the effort needed.

Gut- That is the most uniformed post you have had in a long time. To say that they Corbin is just as good or better than us after that total beat down is just silly. They were down 3 scores to Bell and came back.
I can post you some of the crap their players were talking on social media prior to the game. They felt like we weren't even in their level. Not rumor. I saw them. They wanted this game badly but did not have the skill, stength, speed, or tenacity to even make it competitive - never mind win. We play them 20 times and beat them 20.

Haddix keeps this up and he will be back at Perry or Breathitt.

they don't have the talent knox is loaded with talent the next three or four years will show it if our coach will use it right

Let's give credit where it is due PJ and Gut. Knox's O line opened up gapping holes and drove Corbins D line off the ball 4-5 yards every play. KC's D line spent as much time in Corbins backfield as the QB. The D line shut down the read option better than anyone has this year. Corbin was forced to throw the ball and it showed a glaring weakness. Coach Russell said it perfectly after the game, if we continue to prepare and play like they did Friday, we have a legit opportunity to play for and win the region this year. GL to all the 13th region teams this week. Play hard and be injury free.

Heard Whitley offered him 1000000$ and said he could bring Mitchell back as D Coordinator... And he still said no to them too!
