Hey go troll on your teams thread, valley doesn't care what school phs players went too or jchs players for that matter!!!

Let's get it on. Tigers vs Wildcats!!! More rumors on resting players!! True or false?

The fact that seems to be omitted from this thread (or at least I didn't see it, and I haven't read all the posts), is that this same group of Paintsville kids played in the Middle School State Finals as 7th/8th graders. They have added a couple of contributing younger players and a foreign exchange kick-off specialist, but these boys have been playing together since their middle school days.

I have heard that there will be no resting the starters in this one. Unless it's a blowout either direction. Paintsville wants to keep their momentum going into the playoffs and want to try and continue their undefeated season. It's not going to be an easy task for them Friday night. As for Valley, it is their senior night and I know them boys will bring their A game. They're going to do everything they can to pull the upset. The game will be closer than most predict. Both teams playing to win it could go either way.

I agree. If Shelby Valley can kick the ball deep and make Paintsville drive the whole field like Paintsville's kicker is going to do to them they have a chance to play the clock control game which is to their advantage. If they continue with this onside kicking and give the Tigers a short field it could get ugly quick.

Paintsville's speed will be on display on the turf. If they can control the line of scrimmage defensively, should be business as usual for the Tigers moving forward. However, Valley has had big success running the ball against Paintsville for the past two years, so we shall see. This year's Tiger front seven seems to be light years ahead of those teams though.

After looking at the Paintsville roster, and discussing with a person with definite knowledge, only 2 kids on that roster were ever even enrolled at Johnson Central High School, and only one was ever on their roster. He transferred there for one year and came back to Paintsville. He was on the Middle School state runner up team for Paintsville. The other kid is playing football for the first time this year. Therefore, only two TRANSFER players on the roster. Just because a kid goes to a particular middle school, does not make them the property of any certain high school. You boys have obviously never lived in a city with several high schools. It is commonplace. Open your eyes, and look beyond the sticks sometime. There is a great big world out there beyond the mouth of the holler.

Who are the kids that transferred from Pburg ? Gigantic melons made reference to that a day or so ago

i think paintsville will win by 24 or more if SV don't play any better than they played in the past couple weeks it will be worse than that. SV has a couple key players out on defense and paintsville is at the top of their game they can't stop Kash daniels

I don't know their names. I asked my son who two of the boys were one day and he said they were from P-berg.

I looked at Paintsville roster and didn't see any from last year.
We had Jarrell and Goble go to Pikeville. Marcum to Johnson Central.

No one on Paintsville's roster was on Prestonsburg's roster last year.

Maybe they are Freshmen and played middle school last year.

Sv rested several players against Allen central, the last game where all there starters played was Leslie county. The players that sit out the ac game where banged up a bit could play if needed too

Some miss the big picture here, who cares if Paintsville wins or loses by 50. The prize is a month away and I hope Shelby Valley is there too

Also it does not matter where kids are from as long as they are playing for that team.

Last year was my first trip to Bowling Green. I loved it!! We got to watch quite a few mountain teams compete and liked it so much that we're planning to go back this year. I would LOVE to see Paintsville and Shelby Valley compete there!! Both represents their respective areas very well!!
