They don't have a strong schedule I agree. But they do have a talented squad. this years Harlan team reminds me of the Williamsburg squad a couple years ago. Not many would give them credit because of the schedule...but this is a really good football team if you have had the chance to watch them play. I think you need to just give credit were credit is do. I'm proud of those kids so far. 4-0!

With Jackson and Capps back in lineup it will be a different team Friday. Jackets will get the win.

I don't know yet if this year's team is better than the Saragas-Overbay-Morris group from three years ago. Other than Busroe, I don't know if Harlan's speed matches up with Williamsburg's from the state runner-up team and the defense has given up a ton of yards to some bad teams.

Come on people.. Harlan is 4-0 best start in awhile and they got a good chance for a 1 seed. I think there district is going to be very competitive.

Harlan 28-27

This Harlan team is more athletic but still raw. I think they r better then the Saragas yrs but not by a lot right now. Talk to one of there coaches the other day and said only 3 starters from defense last yr and 5 starters from last yrs offense. I think they will be pretty good over next few yrs

Harlan 42 mboro 14

This isn't the Harlan County Dragons. That's the Harlan County Bears

We had the talent to make a run at state when bianchi was a senior we just never really meshed together as a team. To many egos..

Dragons will get their opportunity to prove how good they are when the playoffs begin. The second round will be either Hazard or Pikeville. They will be competitive.

Any word on all the injuries for Middlesboro? Will Elliot play?

Agreed.

This will be Middlesboro's last real chance to win one. I think Harlan wins. After Middlesboro's district starts it will leave them out of possibilities. Bell is off, I think I will go to this one. Harlan 35-14 after injury report pm. Just one guys opinion.

You better hope it's not pikeville, the weak schedule will show when you play some good completion, I know middlesboro is struggling but I still don't think they will lose to Harlan

It has really been comical to stay silent for awhile and just watch. I see more people on here from Bell than I do Middlesboro. No opinion either way. My kids are getting better, so I will refrain from competitive talk until they are all better. Keeping up with my sons is tough.

I don't think anybody in this region wants to play Pikeville. Pikeville is much the best

They are not the same caliber that Williamsburg was.

I'm going with Middlesboro in an upset 27-21.

District 7 looks like it will be very competitive between Williamsburg, Harlan and Pineville, and Lynn Camp could beat someone.
One of those top three teams will probably get Hazard in the first round. I'm guessing Lynn Camp will get Pikeville in the first round.

Lynn Camp is playing well and will have a shot to beat any of three other teams in the district

Dragons have several kids who can tote the rock. Donahue is dangerous when he has multiple weapons.

Will weather be a factor? If it rains, Harlan gets big advantage? Running the ball.
09-25-2015, 12:36 PM
Game Day, got a good feeling about tonight. Jackets win, Jackets win, Jackets win.
09-25-2015, 02:40 PM
Harlan 20
Middlesboro 19
Middlesboro 19

Dragons in a route
09-25-2015, 09:14 PM
The rain will definitely favor the dragons in this one.
09-25-2015, 10:00 PM
Could be interesting to see, with the rain, how well middlesboro can run the ball
