Any truth they're gonna start playing a mix of "Take me Home, Country Roads" and "Rocky Top" at Belfry games now? How long before Tennessee plates start showing up in the parking lot? No one will be able to figure out if it's students or just people trying to avoid car tag taxes here. :lmao:

Heard breaking news that Pikeville has asked the KHSAA to play the rest of the year in 2A.

Apparently since the Panthers have more Prestonsburg kids on their roster than the Blackcats they are requesting to trade spots and uniforms and have the easier path to the Semi's

Actually they wanted to be in 3A since they were clearly the best team in that class last year.

This is proof that everyone will kick you when your down. 1 bad year in the last decade, and everyone kicks dirt on them. Highlands is pound for pound the best program in the state, and probably the nation as well.

Big difference. When is the last time highlands lost to a team 2 classes down. Since Highlands is 4a by enrollment(volunteered to play up in 5a) they would have to lose to a 2a school to be the same. Big difference comparing the 2 when you say multiple titles. 4 titles compared to 23 is a big difference. Every team in the state strives to be on the level of Highlands, and Trinity. I doubt any team achieves that level of success, and before anyone questions me yes im including Mayfield as I know they haven't reached that level either.
