I hate Knott Central. I really do. But lets be honest here. They are the best team in the 14th, the best team in all of east ky and hands down a top 5 team in the state. For the people on here saying they wouldnt finish 5th in the 12th region, you people need to take off your home team goggles and be realistic. How many other east ky teams have two D1 players? How many any have one going to play in a major confrence? How many have the repeated region title runs like Knott is on? Dont get me wrong like i said i hate Knott and i Pray PCC finds a way to beat them in region. But to act like they only win because of refs and that they couldnt compete outside of the 14th is just stupid.

Southwestern had a great win...but i guarentee Coach Wright and his team have put this game behind them, just as Coach King and the Patriots have and are concentrating on winning a State Championship.

With the team knott has this year there is no excuse for the schedule they have played. You see what happens when they play a quality opponent. Lincoln co will beat them next week it would not surprise me at all if it comes a heavy frost next week B.B. will try to craw dad out of that game. Knott does not have the ball handling ability to compete against a pressing physical opponent. How about a double helping of Mash Taters with gravy and a pone of corn bread.:biglmao:

I totally agree with you WETSU. They have been steam rolling over all all these cupcakes they have been playing. When they get outside the 14th where the good ol boy refs and their commander in chief tommy hall telling them to take care of knott. You see what happens.

I don't know why most people are looking at this game as an upset. Southwestern is a legitimate top 10 team in the state. They have a stud point guard, a heck of a big man, a well above average 2 guard, and great role players. I've seen Knott play twice, they would be ranked 5th in the 12th region, behind SW, Lincoln, Wayne, and Boyle, and possibly PC, Mercer, and West Jess. I honestly felt going into the game SW would win by 15.

Any team that shoots good from 3 and plays full court pressure defense will give knott problems. The only defense B.B. knows is a 2-3 zone and their ball handling is not great. They don't have very good point guard play.

Well let's see, it snowed two inches and BB didn't (craw dad) out of his game, knott handled the pressure D and then some, and Lincoln most certainly didn't beat Knott. So this statement is blown out of the water. Again I ask why can't the adults on this site just give credit where it is due. they are a great team with great young men who work hard for what they receive. Oh yeah they are teenagers!!
