Meant to say Collier....oops.....Collier playing on Feb 7th is the proper prediction. And you can take it to the bank! Cause Stone Cold said so!

So a school can sign off and a kid can be eligible without moving?
01-25-2015, 07:46 AM
I have been with Roscoe all his coaching career, right there in his hand for every game. We have come up with the plan, the missing piece is now ready to take flight and get this plane off the ground. No stopping the Jags now!

He already lives in Laurel Co. He just kept getting eligible at the other three schools
01-25-2015, 06:01 PM
I just can't believe a school would sign off on this after this long and the way he has jumped around.......especially and him moving to a school in the same district that the school could face to go to the region.......if I'm correct the AD has a son that plays on Jackson County team......somone explain to me why he would do this to his son much less the team.....crazy or jealous if u want my opinion....

I personally think JC would have been a better team if had stayed than the NL team he is going to...JMO tho.

He lives in Laurel Co and should be going to a Laurel Co school which he now is. Don't hate because he is good and going to take us to another Championship.

In my opinion, the KHSAA dropped the ball on this one. KHSAA let him move from school to school his whole career and then rule him ineligible his senior year??? I knew it wouldn't hold water just due to the hypocrisy. KHSAA is a joke for their original ruling and Jackson County is a joke for appealing his move back to North Laurel.
01-26-2015, 03:51 PM
Really folks??
Jackson Co had no say if Collier is eligible or not.. he should have stayed put at North from the being and this wouldn't be a issue.. He established eligibility at Jackson co and never changed residence.. Ruling should be Not eligible!!! Jackson has no say in it!!!

According to the KHSAA rules, you are right. He has to have a bona fide change of address, which is impossible in this situation.
01-26-2015, 04:07 PM
Not his fault. Don't punish him for someone else's personal agenda. He should and will be playing for the Jags. RUPP here we come. With him and the Bigs, no one can stop us.

bottom line on eligibility.....anyone can be ruled eligible or ineligible depending on how commissioner wants to rule. That is a joke......some get nailed and others go free. The man does what he wants and answers to no one. No checks and balances......i guess its who you know or what you know on them. Not saying all transfers are this way but most are a joke when it comes to adhering to the rules.
01-26-2015, 04:13 PM
I like ur confidence Clipboard, a little misguided but I like it.

The KHSAA has long since lost any real credibility. They're a joke. Some sit, some play, some play and never move, some move and never play. High school athletics needs a real administrative body. The bad thing is I can only see it getting worse. The only people that are hurt by their nonsense are the student/athletes.
01-26-2015, 04:30 PM
Once the KHSAA rules committee passes down a ruling on an appeal, there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. Jackson County or no one else. This is a ridiculous transfer because he applied to transfer 3 weeks before the season started. If the KHSAA won't stop a transfer, an in district one at that, when a player has already practiced with a team, learning their offensive and defensive schemes, what will they stop? High school basketball has become just like college, except it's now easier to transfer in high school than it is college. The smaller communities that believe basketball is as important as religion will continue to build powerhouse teams even when they don't have the talent locally and the rest will do the best they can with what they're left with.

Count not misguided, just stating the facts. Watch and see, Roscoe is so excited that he about broke me the other day. Jags will be right there at the end.

NOTHING AGAINST THE KID AT ALL....IT'S JUST NOT FAIR TO OTHERS WHEN THEY HAVE TO SIT FOR A YEAR TO BE ELIGIBLE AND OTHERS CAN PLAY AT DIFFERENT SCHOOLS EVERY YEAR. I'VE SEEN IT NUMEROUS TIMES. DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WAS IN THE LOUISVILLE AREA BUT I THINK THERE IT USED TO BE WHEREVER YOU STARTED THE YEAR THAT'S WHERE YOU HAD TO STAY UNTIL THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR. UNLESS SOMEONE LEGITIMATELY MOVES I JUST DON'T SEE HOW YOU CAN BE ELIGIBLE IN THE SAME YEAR. I'VE SEEN THE TRANSFORM FORM AND YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER 3 QUESTIONS "NO" IN ORDER FOR NO INVESTIGATION TO BE DONE. THAT IS UNLESS THE COMMISSIONER WANTS TO DO HIS THING AND MAKE A RULING WITHOUT CONSULTING ANYONE OR ANSWERING TO ANYONE ABOUT IT. COULDN'T IMAGINE HE COULD DO THAT......:biglmao:THE CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD HAVE TO BE OUT OF THIS WORLD. I JUST DON'T SEE HOW THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE THINGS AT NORTH. TO THE PERSON THAT SAID IF NORTH GETS 4 SEED THEN CLAY IS BEAT AND THEN SAID IF NL GETS 2 OR 3 THEN CLAY WINS DISTRICT. IF THEY CAN BEAT CLAY IN SEMIS THEN THEY CAN BEAT THEM IN THE FINALS. ITS NO DIFFERENT.....THERE WOULD ACTUALLY BE MORE PRESSURE IN THE SEMIS THAN IN THE FINALS. DON'T WIN THE SEMI ROUND THERE IS NO CHANCE OF PLAYING IN THE REGION. LOSE IN THE FINALS THEN YOU STILL GET TO PLAY THE NEXT WEEK.
01-26-2015, 04:57 PM
The more things and players change the more they stay the same CC will win their THIRD straight REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!:Cheerlead
I don't know the numbers, but I think NL has beaten CC only once in the last several years...IMO not much of a rivary.
I'm putting my paperwork in next week...I think I have a few weeks eligibility left. BRAD S. you need one more big.

Your telling us Bobby Keith would actually let a big leave Manchester that can play and over the age of 25?

We're in negotiations as we speak. Like Collier I gotta have options.
01-26-2015, 05:05 PM
Well send me your offers and we will try to match them. We do have new apartments going up as we speak.
01-26-2015, 05:07 PM
I play on living in Manchester...That shouldn't be an issue tho.
01-26-2015, 05:10 PM
Not a problem I'll have Roscoe get you a car to drive to save mileage on your car. Plus we will throw in a gas card.

This isn't really funny for the kids who are sitting or afraid to move for fear of being ruled ineligible. While this kid has been to at least Southwestern, Jackson and now North Laurel while living at the same location. Was he at North in the beginning before Southwestern?
01-26-2015, 08:37 PM
I have to agree...It's harder to tranfer elementery schools here in CC...It is what it is tho.
01-26-2015, 08:39 PM
They are more than welcome to take the same chances he did. There is no rule that says you can't try. He tried and went they the process. If they want to do it they will have to go through the same thing he did. Don't hide behind fear and then common complain because someone took a chance and won.

I think he only played middle schools at southwestern. I may be wrong. :HitWall:

he played his freshman and soph years at southwestern.

He started out at North to southwestern when Wright took the job and to Jackson Co last year and north this year..
