North Laurel according to another message board.
11-10-2014, 07:06 PM
You would be correct. Starting five could be: 6''4, 6'5, 6'7, 6'8, 6'8 with a bench. Things just got more interesting in the 49th District and 13th Region. #letthegoodtimesroll

Boom. :Cheerlead

broughton, collier, rice and asher, who is the other 6'7-8 kid

North Laurel gets even better. He waited until basketball season is about to start and just switched schools so will he be eligible?
11-10-2014, 08:04 PM
I'm sure its job related, he's dad will be on the bench.
11-10-2014, 08:14 PM
idk, mike is subbing at jackson co today. I assume he will be on the bench at north
11-10-2014, 08:26 PM
Listen the kid has been shopped around all summer. If clay county would have agreed to put his dad on the bench he would have been there 2 months ago. What is this is 4-5 school in 4 years. Bad move for north. Gonna lose players for a rent a player. Plus what's gonna happen when he puts up 15 shots a night. Broughton ant giving his up. So I guess there goes asher and Bayley s . Chemistry is gonna a problem.

Is his dad a teacher?
11-10-2014, 08:39 PM
So much for loyalty. North Laurel won't be much of a threat anyway. Rice isn't that good and Broughton can't dribble. Collier will upset chemistry on the team and cause some to jump ship. :please:

This does nothing but help North if Collier gets eligible. Anyone would love to add this kid to their roster, lying if say otherwise. But when a team like this is in the region a lot of people start to worry. Clay, Knox, and Williamsburg will all be good, but North with Collier will be dangerous. As for Collier dad being on the bench you obvious dont know as much as it seems about the program.
11-10-2014, 09:36 PM
I am told mike will not be on the bench.

Jeffers, I guess.

North looks to make some serious noise in the 13th
11-11-2014, 09:35 PM
I heard last nite that house had talked to north about coming back.
11-11-2014, 09:39 PM
13th moving kids around like 14th. Collier will be at 3rd high school in 3 years.

I don't know anything about the program. I'm just going on past track record. I also agree with E he is a difference maker but I still think CC will be better come tourny time.

I heard it was smith and that farmer was talking to Harlan co. Go figure.
11-11-2014, 11:35 PM
I heard the same thing about smith. Don't know what's going on. But I was told from someone in the know that smith was not being utilized correctly by marcum and that they wherr some heavy politics involved. They said the slowest guy in the 13th region was running point. (Farmer). And that they had smith playing the 4. If this is true Marcum is an idiot.

With all this transferring this may as well be the college game. Makes me sick. Kid should be allowed one move inside region then that's it. Plain and simple
11-11-2014, 11:43 PM
I just saw smiths dad at lowes today and he said there was nothing to rumors. Smith was at practice today. Funny politics if farmer is really talking about Harlan co. But politics is funny to me.
11-11-2014, 11:45 PM
How are these kids going to get eligible?
11-11-2014, 11:46 PM
Glad to hear that count would sure hate to see smith leave and a point guard that couldn't run a 20 second 100 yard dash
11-11-2014, 11:50 PM
I think the CC boys r staying put and I think collier will be lucky if he gets eligible
People are getting ancey so they\we have to talk about something. I think we are all ready for the games to begin

From what I was told collier lives almost next to NL high and has, with his dad resigning his job at Jackson getting eligible shouldn't be an issue. I'm not for sure but I think someone told me he has a step sister that has always went to NL. More legit transfer than most. North may easily be the most talented but I don't like just big teams. There is a reason that you don't see college teams play 3/4 bigs even though they could. You have to have ball handling on the floor. Sizemore may not be playing this big line up as much as some think. He is going to have to find lineups that work. December may be tough for North before it's all figured out. Some of the bigs may be coming off the bench now. I heard the smith/coach marcum issue was marcum is still hung up on what mcdaniels did and how he did it. I am for sure not a clay county fan but I hope the team issues that one of the players uncles was talking about when I ran into him a few days ago are not completely true or can get worked out. Drama usually doesn't bother CC. Most of the issues though sounded like some jealousy driven problems that will be figured out when games start and the new main pecking order is figured out.

If Collier lived in North's district last year it will be very difficult to get him eligible.
11-12-2014, 04:00 PM
Good luck to Coach Sizemore, he's a very good young coach.
11-12-2014, 04:01 PM
It will be easier than not. They can claim financial situation to get eligibility at his local school and can't afford the transportation / tuition etc of Jackson County.

If four schools in four years is acceptable. I say let Cordia be.
