I disagree . While i do agree Raceland wil win , & it takes more than one one athlete to win a game , but Paintsville will have the best athlete on the field that night in Donte Hendricks . Messer is a great athlete no doubt , but Hendricks is the better athlete. Ive seen them both play several times in person but Donte is def the better athlete .he just played his 1st game this past Friday night with Paintsville after moving there from Cabbell Midland in West Virginia . He actually played for both Midland , & Huntington High . Look up his highlight video on youtube from his Sophomore year , it will blow your mind

I've seen it, didn't blow my mind. Kid is a good player. Will be lots of players just as good or better facing him in the playoffs.

Haven't seen Pikeville, or Johnson c. Raceland is the best team I have seen all year in our area, and I've seen all that counts in all classes. And I do mean complete team, both sides of ball.

Just saw his Hudl clip from the Nicholas game. Impossibe to tell anything because Nicholas is so down again. But I see he is at RB. What is Belcher's status. Hendricks is fast and very strong for his size, but he doesnt impress me any more than Belcher or Kash have. Elijah King or Turner did from Fairview, Baker or Long from Ashland, or Messer from Raceland, you can throw Estep/Maynard/Charles/Pugh in that mix as well. Hendricks is a great athelete, while he may be faster than the other guys I mentioned, he doesnt impress me any more than they have. They are all very VERY good atheletes, especially to be playing in single A ball. I think Raceland will win the LOS battle and forse a few turnovers and pull away late.

Raceland will be at home and very focused, I think they have the maturity this year and especially this point in the season that maybe they didn't have in the past when they were apt to lay an egg after a big win. And I just don't think Messer will let them not be focused. That young man is about as good as I have seen all year and I really think he is on a mission. Paintsville has some really good talent, from what I have heard their QB is full of talent and potential, but that Ram defense is all around tough and good and they will force some turnovers Friday night.

Raceland won't lose this one at home, they are facing a good Tiger team but other than the game at Tank I don't think they lose another one during the regular season. Raceland by 20+

I know calpreps projections are what they are, but they have been pretty close to getting the scores to the ball games for Raceland this year. They are neutral field scores, so you can almost add a TD to the point spread in favor of the home team. That being the case, here's what its said:
Pikeville 31(w homefield adv 37) Raceland 28
If Raceland and Pikeville both TCB then this years regional semifinal game could be epic.

I seen and played football in the mountains for many years and I can tell you one thing that is a fact. Donte Hendricks is the fastest player I have ever seen. Once he plants his toe and cuts, no one can catch him and he doesn't go down very easy like most fast players. If you don't corral him he is gone.

I watched his highlights from the Nicholas County game on Hudl. I think the video showed four or five carries and you're right, he's fast, agile and strong. What kind of offensive line play does Paintsville have?
