Limitless talent and elite coaching are a tough combination to beat. They'll be just fine either way.

Bowling Green has a few pretty good players and a fair coaching staff as well. Check the Purples out on Hudl and then check out Pulaski County. I think the team that has won 3 titles in a row and their only loss in almost 4 years was by 1 point to the 18th ranked team in the country might disagree with you. Everybody has an opinion. Yours just happens to be wrong. Lol. Just kidding.

not the favorite but a solid number 2. Bowling green is the favorite in 5A

The road just got tougher with the injury to Riley but PCs defense will still get them there. Dont need 50 pts to win. According to defense stats on the year....just need to score a td or 2. (most pts allowed by PC 1st team defense in a game has been 6) Thats pretty dominant.

After watching North Laurel, the past two weeks in person, I say "don't underestimate them", they keep getting better and better. Their defense is tuff. They may well be the most improved team in our area.

I was looking at the roster for Southern on max preps and noticed 15 and 68 was not listed.

Can someone tell me who they are?

Thanks.

I don't think that PC has improved as much as other teams in 5A have. Could be interesting.

North Laurel is A perfict example.

Rockcastle scored 6 didn't Corbin and North Laurel Score to or was they all FG. But I agree with you PC Defense is tough

Is there any word on Hall's injury? They could make it to regional final without him. It will get very difficult after that.

PC 1st team defense has allowed 2 TDs & 2 FGs all season. Corbin scored both TDs vs JV.

I say SW wins out the rest of the regular season. Extremely talented team with PC only standing in the way on senior night without Hall.

Things like this that are usually blown up seldom hit the mark for being what it should be. :Sad04:

These two just can't seem to meet up in great weather conditions. There are a TON of "what ifs" in this game. What if Harris played. What is Hall didn't go down in the 2nd quarter. What if the weather hadn't played a factor. The bottom line is that PC still won this game by 5 touchdowns.

I will say this. All of the what ifs aside. I underestimated Madison Southern's defense. I think they played well Friday night.

This might be the most ridiculous statement I've seen in quite a while! PC with or without Hall will NOT be the favorite period to win 5A state much less the hands down favorite without him. PC has a solid team but the NL game with Hall playing showed that they are very vulnerable and although they have a good defense, the fact they shutout MS minus Damien Harris and held NL to 8 points doesn't exactly mean their defense is state championship caliber? The Hall injury is HUGE in considering their chances to make a deep run in the playoffs, if he is not able to play the rest of the year IMO they will not even make it to the championship game much less be the hands down favorite to win it all.......

I think anytime you take a playmaker of Hall's caliber out of the game, you are in BIG trouble!

Like the NL game, at Lincoln Co. it was the same elements for both teams. You either can adjust to these tuff weather situations there is no control over, or you don't basically!
