Fairview at Paintsville 10/10/14
#31
If Belcher is healthy I like Paintsville at home, if not then I think Fairview wins.
Can't predict a score on this one

Hendricks didn't get eligible till what Thursday of last week & didn't play against LCA. Does he suit up this week or does he have to get 10 practices in?

According to KHSAA rule on website , he has to have 10 practices once cleared , only one practice per day counts towards that total , & saturday / sunday cannot count . So if Paintsville plays it clean he wont be eligible to play against Fairview

He will be cleared to play for next week right??

Should be cleared to play the week after Fairview . He wouldnt have enough required practices to play against Fairview

Scotty_Bronson Wrote:Fairview may very well be creeping to "sleep" as well lol. There is no doubt that the district of Raceland, Paintsville, and Fairview has to be the strongest in 1A from top to bottom.

Not a weak one in that group, no sir.

be the best game this friday

KHSAA says practices on Saturday and Sunday don't count? I can't find that.

Something along the lines of this scenario...

Roy throws a TD pass to tie it up and after two overtimes Paintsville pulls out the win at home after the eagles fail to convert on the two-point conversion in the 2nd overtime to win the game.

Tigers 42
eagles 41

^ Sounds exciting.

Will be A good spectator Game.
#42
Fairview to much team speed for paintsville. Fairview 42 paintsville 28.
#43
I agree Fairview is probably the faster team, but I think Paintsvilles line is better and Daniel along with the other LB will be able to get pressure on Roy and force him to make some uncofortable throws. Weird not saying things like "conrol the clock" or "stack the box" when refering to the newly acclaimed "Airview", btw that is very fitting. Getting Sesher(sp) back should help w the eagles run game, but i think Paintsville will control TOS and a few ints to aid in them getting the W.

Paintsville line is better than Fairview? pressure on roy? I doubt it scotty maybe once or so. but not against that line. they are solid. roy does what he does because of these 5. would say the best overall line in district.
#47
betcha Hendricks plays against south greenup. should be even more interesting in the best district in 1A:flame:
#48
Everything ive seen has been Roy moving around on the big plays. Not taking anythig away from anyone. Just my opinion.
#49
Fairview line is no where near what they have been in the past

90 percent of the time he only throws it about 5 yards, hard to get any pressure on him when he gets rid of it that quick.

Fairview.
#52
Paintsville by 14.

last years line was average at best. mcpeek was lazy and slow. young was average. metzler is returning doing good job. roark was by far the better lineman but is being replaced solidly. goble was less than average. now you tell me. ill take this WRECKING CREW over that illegal bunch. and o yea. recruited players will never shine in my eyes. so this years line wins out:flame:

Hey I agree roy can throw it down field. I am just saying most of the time it is short passes to creat space for the receiver and then the speed takes over their backs and receivetd are excellent downfield blockers as well. I picked fairview over pike central and I am picking fairview of paintsville. Alex is a great kid and I wish him well unless they are playing my dawgs.
