Where did you get your info, Scotty? Because that's a lot different from people close to the family he's with now.

Hate it for the kid, to miss his sr year of ball, but with all this movement, i cant see it boding well for what ever team he lands on. Glad to hear the Tigers are getting some guys back from injury though.
Exactly Scotty. Glad the citizens of Paintsville are so concerned about him though. Really don't know why they would want him in their school. Oh wait, yes I do. Any Paintsville fans want to speculate how he ended up in Paintsville? After 6 other stops? And the 4.3 = :hilarious:
Don't see Paintsville getting by Raceland or Fairview with or without him though.

The kid is legit. A definite d1 kick returner/small d1 slot reciever. He ist really big. 5'10" 180ish. But he is VERY fast andhas really good hands and field vision. With that said, he went to Huntington, then back to Cabell, then attempts back to Huntington fell theough so he tried Fairview. I knew of the Huntington/Cabell situations bc i have always followed Huntington High basketball/football since the Mayo days. I didnt know until a fell rival poster disclosed some info to me. I havent a dog in the fight. Idkc who fairiew paintsville russelville the new england patriots or the damn Houston Oilers (long gone i know), drafted. U got a team on the schedule u gotta play em and try to beat em. Dont gripe about it. I just find it hard to believe the kid is squeeky clean after all of the movement.

I hope it works out for him. He does look legit and I'd hate to see any kid lose his senior season with prospects like he appears to have. Maybe this move will be good for him and the Tigers can use all the bodies they can get. Could be a good fit. How long do you think it will take for them to find out about eligibility?
JP, I'd seen Talon's post, but he didn't state where any of his info came from either. I was just going on what coaches at Midland and the family he's with now have said. He may have an inside scoop that we don't know about.

If what I heard is true, I think the kid gets cleared. I don't think the KHSAA wants a black eye from this.. Yes their is a lot to be cleared up.That's all I'll say for now....

Hard for them to get a black eye with a kid who changes schools as often as he changes underwear.

Hopefully the young man gets an opportunity to play either at Paintsville or somewhere else, it's almost halfway through the season.

Just found out that Shelby valley's defense is ranked #1 in 2A in both run and pass defense!

28-22 tigers..

I don't think this game is very close. I think Shelby Valley controls the line of scrimmage and wins fairly easily.

I'm going with Paintsville in this one..
Paintsville 32
Shelby Valley 20
Paintsville 32
Shelby Valley 20

Valley

Just to clarify, this was a response to "This is Me's" question about the outcome of last year's contest. Not a prediction...but, as always Go Tigers!

Paris is in the top 10 in class A, valley held them to 16 yards of offense. That's pretty good defense against a top 10 team

The top teams in Class A would beat Paris by 50+. They have beaten Bath Co. and Ludlow. They just aren't very good. Plus they had 8 turnovers against Valley.

As of yesterday Paris was not ranked in the top 10 in class A

First off HAil Pikeville ! I never claimed Valley was the Pittsburg Steelers with the steel curtain . All I was trying to say is that in there first two games there line has played very well and haved caused several turnovers . And #1 BLackcat fan I guess we will see in a few weeks when you make the trip to Valley !!!! And I will say it again if paintsville try's to run on Valley it will be a long night for the Tigers .

It doesn't matter paintsville will still lose. Paris would beat paintsville

When it's all said and done, we will find out tomorrow what really happens and what each of these teams truly consist of against equal competition. Wish both teams an injury free game and a good game for the fans. Go valley!

Not to burst your bubble or take away from your attempt at humor but I'm betting if you and I compared resumes in athletics you would come up significantly inferior. I've been very blessed over the past 30 years to have played baseball and football at the college level and I have coached both sports at the college and high school level. I understand your frustration with being a paintsville supporter this year, but it doesn't take any sort of an expert to see the writing on the wall for Paintsville. So wake up your mommy and have her bring you a bowl of cereal to the basement, and let the grownups talk.

I guess we will. We had so much trouble with that run defense last year.

SV could beat Mayfield and jet pilot would say something bad about SV. They had players out or the weather was awful, lol. SV has a solid team this year, not a powerhouse but solid. Should be a good game tonight, hope both teams go injury free.
