North Laurel was good but they really wasn't better than Williamsburg... The day lay over for Williamsburg playing the next day did Williamsburg in.. Hazard and Williamsburg would both beat North Laurel at full strength.

E's Army Wrote:Those 3 could have beat Williamsburg but Williamsburg could have beaten any of the three. Somerset may have been better but Williamsburg was better than Pikeviile or Fairview. Jackets dominated Raceland without Griffith for the majority of the game. Raceland hammered Fairview and beat Pikeville the week before the Williamsburg game
I agree, All games could of gone either way. If Pikeville had a defense last year in my opinion then Pikeville would of possibly played Williamsburg. Williamsburg controlled and dominated the game against Raceland but I believe the Rams were still living off the high of finally beating Pikeville for a regional championship. Williamsburg was more prepared and played and acted like they have been there. Raceland acted like the new kid on the block..

So did north laurel not have to wait too
Was it even close? Score says no.

I think Wburg fans will agree that North Laurel would have beaten both teams handily if they were at full strength. North was no slouch this year and there depth alone would have done almost every 1A team in. Its not a knock on the 1A teams, that's how it should be. North has over a 1000 more students.
With the lone exception of Mayfield, a DECENT 5A squad should handle a 1A school with ease. Not all, but most.

More students don't mean more kids play, you should know that.

I never said they did. I said they SHOULD. They did have more depth. There is a difference in numbers and depth. North had more kids who could play and rotate in. That was the point I was trying to make.
The numbers may be close to the same. If I were guessing id say north only dressed about 10-15 more kids than Wburg, but from what was said on here, North was much larger up front, which is where it matters.
North was talented last year. Solid QB, good RB, and Larkey one a good job with the defense. Now that Black is there, I expect North to get really good.
Wburg will most likely be back in BG to take another shot at Mayfield so long as someone steps up and really fills in at that QB spot.

Here I go again agreeing with GUT again. If someone can step up and replace Dalton Sizemore at Qb an not get hurt before playoff Williamsburg will be in the Hunt for another Regional...An a chance to play Painstville or Pikeville to go back to Bowling Green.Thats Right Painstsville.

Corbin's got a new coach, and things are looking up for them. Leslie looks good this yr, and you know what Williamsburg can do. Sounds like your going to be busy for sure. :insane:

64 figures if he cant win a ring with 1 team he will just adopt more. If this doesn't work for him this year, look for him to adopt about 10 more next year. He will get the chance to say his team got a ring eventually.

I dont think he even believed in the burg he was talking smack and now he gets to look like a genius. If i play the powerball constantly maybe ill get lucky enough to win and look smart for playing then everyone will forget all the times i lost once i finally win. And to you 64 i do have 2 teams i strongly root for. Mayfield started out as my playoff team since my team is always bounced 1st or 2nd round. But ive started attending the regular season games since they play better opponents and the results are less painful, besides i have practically lived in mayfield for a decade because i have spent so much time there and thats not counting just game nights, but i dont have ten teams like some. If my team is bad i like to have a backup plan thats why i like bama in college even though i still pull for kentucky. Maybe i should pick 64 a team for him cause it shouldnt take that many, just go for your hometown team and pick one more really good team and thats all you need. I do pull for all the local teams in the playoffs but i dont claim 73 different teams are mine 64.

I think he should be a Belfry fan. He is pretty much assured of state runner up at least every year.

What is your guess on regular season record. I assume they will play all the same teams. Is there anybody on the schedule that is predicted to be way better. What about wayne, and north laurel are they taking a step back or are they supposed to be as good or better.
05-27-2014, 11:55 AM
I think there may be some transferring going on. It just seems that 64 follows certain kids around.
