Hazard will be better offensively but their defense is a big concern losing a great linebacking group. Did they lose much up front?

Hazard 5-5 or 6-4....And I don't even know who they will play in the first 10 games. :yikes:

Looking at last year schedule if it's the same I stand firm on 5-5 or 6-4 :Cheerlead

Hazard 8-2 dont count them out they got 3 easy wins and surely can pick up 3 or 4 more they be better than you think.

Is one of those 3-4 wins gonna be over the orange jackets?

I believe hazard takes the east, especially if its them versus the orange jackets. Hazard has proved time and time again they are the class of the east. 1 loss 1 year to the burg hasnt convinced me otherwise. Now the burg has to be the one out east with the bullseye on them, and now they have pissed off the bulldogs. I dmt know that much about the east but isnt that jones kid got another year left, cause the burg cant stop the run.

Bulldogs put up 7 points on a defense that returns all 11 starters, do you want 64sur to give you a math lesson.all 11 are bigger stronger and faster, bulldogs lost about everyone one defense , defense wins games.

No math lesson needed. I wasnt blown away by the defense i seen. Caldwell county was certain they would win it all last year after coming 26 seconds and about 4 points from winning it all in 2012, and returning almost the entire team. They were setting at home eating hotdogs on the very day they were certain they would be hoisting up a gold trophy. Maybe williamsburg will win the whole thing, if so you will get to enjoy it that much more cause i picked at yall. Its all in good fun, but i cant count a team like hazard out that has been to like 3 out of the last 6 finals and has proven they can rise up and take a gold trophy.

Hazard athletics have really taken a step back since the departure of Johnson, Jordan Olinger, and transfer Evan Whitaker... Sad to see the state of the Hazard football program after a state championship.

That's been happening for 20+ years, nothing new there. They always try to recruit our best middle school players. Every. Single. Year.

Yeah, your right. They've been to a semi final and a regional final since that season. Real disappointment. If you're going to throw names out there, now they have Jason Johnson, Jalen Olinger, and there is a possibility they will have Evans brother Connor playing next year. Not to mention Jones, Fletcher, Morgan, Blanton (who's brother took over the state championship game in 2011 and has worked his butt off this winter), Houston Smith, and Ray Dixon. There has been a big drop in talent, sarcastically speaking! There will always be kids step up and take the place of the class in front of them.

The sodium levels in your post are astronomical. Single A football in Eastern Kentucky is a joke. Like the Bulldogs' baseball team bragging about winning All-A Region. Jackson City and Cordia... But hey if you wanna be mentioned with teams like that don't get mad when it actually happens.

Talent is there but from 07 to 11 was special. In 07 I think hazard wins it all if middle linebacker Bart Teague wasn't hurt.. 08 they needed to play a complete 4 quarters instead of 2. In 09 I think they possible win could of win against LCA if my cousin would of played his senior year. In 2010 mayfield was a machine no doubt about that. 2011 the seniors followed great leaders before them setting them up for the title. Also I still think 2010 team was better than the score indicated and in 08 Meehan played for LCA an he would of paid off big time in the passing game.

Not trying to stir up any hornets nest but I have been hearing that Hazard Qb may be moving back to NKY. Any truth to that?

Good programs always rebound. Im sure the Bulldogs will be back soon.

Look for hazard player to transfer to perry central.williamsburg is coming Dawgs. nicker:

I didn't know you could go from Hazard to Perry Central. I thought this pipeline only went one direction.

I would like for someone to name 1 player that transfered to Hazard from Perry who made any contribution to the Bulldog Football Program. Can anyone name just 1?

Would you mind to elaborate further and what you actually mean with that post in detail ? I would like to read your examples of facts.

I think Hazard will see an increase. Their baseball team is doing very well. They just beat a very good McCracken Co team in state tourney. The basketball team did pretty well. The football team will rebound.

Eric Back..

Hazard has athletes who play basketball who should play football as well.. If this happen hazard could have more depth for sure.

That's my point. You can't name them because they don't exist. The only player I can think of is Jeremy Kendrick and he transfered after Bert Brown kicked him off the team at Perry.
A lot of people get on here and run there mouths about Hazard recruiting Perry players , but no one seems to be able to name them. Just saying!
