Williamsburg 2014
Mr.Clutch23 Wrote:Just read what you wrote ....... Talking about how Whitley did this and that against a 1a school your a fool and everyone on here nows it. As for me making excuses what would I do that about? Williamsburg be state runner up or winning more then 1 game ?

it was you that keeps bringing Lynn Camp up when Lynn Camp hammered you most years.speaking of Jellico.one year a Jellico girl scored against your team Confusednicker: . Do something before you start bashing other schools
Doug trolling Williamsburg thread because nobody cares enough to start a Whitley thread. pj needs to stick to his conspiracy theories. He can tell us all how the aliens, Obama and the FBI conspired to cheat the Lady Colonels. The sherriff needs to find where he is buying his dope and shut them down.
Good Gosh, You guys are already at it. I can't believe we haven't even started practice and you guys are already fighting over there. 64 and I haven't even gotten started yet. Come on fellas, "Can't we all just get along"?

Gargamel maybe sniffing around Jackets program :pondering:

Gargamel is a jacket hater, we may have to call animal control to lock him up. Always posted negative about the jackets:haters::howdy:Confusedmoke::dogbowl::truestory:
he picked Pineville to beat us in the playoffs last year because he knew what was coming next bark bark
RunItUpTheGut Wrote:Considering there fans are boasting about there recruits on here, maybe they should...

A little Jacket told me this tonight at the baseball game. Two kids from California that will be moving in with their dad this summer. He will be working at the dog food plant will be coming to Williamsburg.
Johnathon soph 6'2" 230 lbs linebacker- fullback
Eli senior 6'4" qb 2 year starter that threw for 2200+ yards last year.
Succ ess breeds suscees. no player on whs team who transferred to Wtlliamsburg., ever put on a uniform to play for another school, they would not play for any school. they sent their children here because of CLASS SIZE, THAY CAME HERE BECAUSE OR ACADEMIC ABILIT67Y

I am constantly amazed at the way folks on here take rumor and innuendo and spread it as if it were Gospel...When I read posts where some who still run off with their expertise (Example those who swore Dudley to Whitley was a done deal and you know who you are
), and have no earthly clue, I wonder why anyone listens. Williamsburg will mind their own business, will play their own schedule, and will be just fine with the kids they have. The kids who came from other areas were deemed not good enough to play at other programs, so maybe the coaching staff at Williamsburg just knows how to maximize talent others did not see. As far as transfers from out of state, we don't speculate...if they come they come, and will earn their way into the line up, just like any other young man. Sorry if I seem to be ranting...sometimes I laugh at the frivolity on here, and sometimes I just shake my head...

Hasn't he been dubbed the next starter...

Let's Griffith play receiver and break the career record for receiving yards in Kentucky. Tough break for him.

How many yards does he have. John Cole holds record with 4981 yards.
I don't think Slylar has 3000. Be tough to break. If he did he would also break the single season record.
Williamsburg has a 10 game schedule. Amazing to me a 5A school wants so badly to play a 1A, but it is what it is I guess....especially when those on here clamor for it and say they know what goes on behind the scenes as to who called who...truth is pretty evasive these days...

Also tough to break with Cory Shelton on the field...John Cole didn't play with another receiver as good as Cory, only so many balls to go around...

Skylar has 3676 yards rec 6th all time
176 receptions 15th all time
40 t.d. receptions 19th all time

Skylar had 1616 yards reception as a freshman, I see Williamsburg playing at least 13-15 games next year and if Skylar plays receiver he could break the record if he can get 1300 yards next year, but Coach Herron may have to play him at qb Where ever he plays he has had a great career in high school as he is currently 6th all time receiver.
runitupthegut Wrote:i hear that by 2020 wburg will be consolidated into wc.

i hate to say this but, the state has tried to force small schools to consolidate for years this could happen some day, i think the big schools (consolidation) was the turning point for 90 percent of the academic and discipline problems we now face in education. I truly beleive smaller schools have an advantage over the larger schools, i tried to say that in a way that it did not reflect in any way which was the best school or which school had the best instructors, i have reasons that bring me to that conclusion. That are totally factual..
Newjacket Wrote:Didn't mean to come across so harsh. Just can't stand anyone trying to justify quitting on a team right before the playoffs over a hand full of plays or any reason really.

You are nuts.. and can't coach.
RunItUpTheGut Wrote:I hear that by 2020 Wburg will be consolidated into WC.

Be careful about this one. It would drastically change both schools. I am not sure anyone would like the results. It will never happen, because whatever superintendent did it would have to deal with a drastically changed and hostile board of education. Multiple voting precincts in Williamsburg.
Mr.Clutch23 Wrote:Andrew played qb in middle school and had some reps in high school. Check his middle school highlight film out think people would sing a different tune if they actually knew how great he was not good great! That still holds no ground because Skyler is front runner for the job and why wouldn't he. He lead one team to state championship (middle school) and won by 40. Why would the coachs be looking to the future with so many seniors the time is now! Then wburg will reload with a talented group of underclass men coming up.

I am going to make a quick statement for all you coach wannabees, You haven't learned enough about football to understand basic fundementals of coaching football. Reguardless of what you post here it will not influence Coach Herron/s decision on who plays what when. PEROID. Coach Herron will open the first quarter in the first game with The persons at each position that he the HEAD COACH believes will give us the best chance to win. The people on here and coach wannabees who had a difficult time getting in the games at Williamsburg will have to live with it. you will not influence Coach Herron nor Coach Hatcher one bit. One of the favorites has already quit, Everybody sit back and enjoy the ride. Herron and his coaches do a fine job.:please:

Who are the 10 games, just curious :Cheerlead
I am not sure what order but this maybe the teams.
Halls Knoxville Tenn
South Laurel
Wayne Co. Montecel
Lynn Camp
Berea
Campelsville
Newport something
Pineville
Pike county Central
Harrison County
Newport HS isnt as strong as New Catch, but, they will compete with them the next year or two. That was a solid pick up for Wburg. Still wish the PCB could include some outsiders. Wburg and Raceland's fan based created an electric atmosphere last year. Hopefully that becomes a regular thing.
I took all of the stuff not on topic out.
Continue on.

Ill be back to bug you all in a few weeks or so.

Not denying the past, but over the last 12 years this has been far from the case. Williamsburg list of accomplishments speak for themselves.

I believe Skylar has over 1,000 yards per season if counting the playoffs. I am not sure how that works. I do not think he would be close to the record from Cole though. I believe Corey led the Jackets in recieving last year, but I could be wrong on that one as well.

Somerset was very talented these years. I am not sure what team you were watching. Cole did a lot of damage with the screen game. He was fast, and Somerset had some lineman that could move.
footballfever Wrote:Williamsburg should easily make it to BG next year. The Regional and Semi on the road will make it a little difficult but with their crowd support only the travel will be different than a home game.
Williamsburg is trying to get to Mayfield status? I think its time they just pick Whitley up and play every year. Mayfield does not stay away from their larger school neighbors.

I am dead set against this game ever taking place. It could be the era I grew up in, but it is not good for our community. It would not be the kids that would be the problem, but crazy fans. Just not worth it in my opinnion. I have seen way to much bad stuff happen to ever want to see this game played.
