All I got to say is Clay matches up well against knox but they are too selfish to beat anyone they don't play as a team! So I think they will get beat 10 or 12 by knox just like they did at home. Jackson is a joke everyone talking about them getting to the championship game. Lol you have to play defense and they play none! Corbin should beat them. Knox vs Corbin Championship game knox headed to Rupp!!

I believe that she lives in Frankfort. Richie's oldest son moved back to Clay County and lived with Richie, until he had to leave. He's with the grand parents now. Also, I am under the impression that boy sat out last year to make it legal. No crying or belly aching about it either.
I thought he was very rusty the first game we played them at Clay County. It appears that he's improved all season. I wish him all the luck in the world.

Clay doesn't play as a team? Sure did look a team that won a 49th district championship when their best player fouled out in the 4th. Jackson is a joke? Sure wasn't a joke when they beat Corbin at Corbin for a Cumberland Falls championship. We all know the only way you beat Corbin at Corbin in that game is by being a much better team. No one from Corbin can stop Fox and Lawson from getting to the rim. Tony P can have all his schemes but he doesn't have the players this year.

Expecting to see one of Richie's nephews in the varsity line up for Clay next year also. This is the son of former Clay County Tiger, Russ Farmer,
Go Tigers!

Knox beat Clay by 5 my dude, 5, not 12, 5. Haha Didn't Allen foul out in like the late 3rd early 4th? Expect a different game this time around.

You are right UKCC, it was his Dad's also, just hoping to see him play in the Bobby Keith Gymnasium with #32.

Maybe in a few years. It's always nice when kids play who's fathers did also.

Good lord Farmers running wild. Please tell me ol' Russ had girls instead.

My dude? We all know that going into clay and getting a win is about the same as going into corbin and getting a win, so 5 point win equals about 12 or 13 point win! I'm not even gonna argue the Jackson county talk since knox beat them 11 in Jackson!

Knox is a very good team but that was just one of those nights. I remember Clay was down pretty good and decided to show up late in the 4th and made a run. The Tigers shot 27% from 3, 13 % lower than their average, Wolfe had 2 points, McDaniel was going through that rough patch even with 15. I mean, you could very well attribute that to Knox's defense but that is rare. Marsee may have had the best performance of his season that night. He is the 1 guy that can single handlely beat Clay if Allen plays less than 90%.

You said Corbin would beat Jackson? What does that have to do with Knox? You should be talking smack to 64SUR about your game tomorrow night before you mention other teams. You're technically the favorite, but there's a lot of basketball to be played.

The Knox fans go hard out here. I thought Outside was bad. Haha They just come straight with gunpowder.

Without question. Not afraid of anyone but would be lying if I said I wanted to play Knox of even Jackson. You have to beat everyone but when it's not 2 of the top 3 teams it makes that road less stressful.

Talking about stressful i can see it now clay county fans coming down with jacket fever if williamsburg can beat knox....I will need some help against clay nation''''KEEP COAL ALIVE :partyhard

I'm pulling for Williamsburg to win, because of people like Slim Reaper. They have a legitimate shot to win if Andrew Griffith shows up, no doubt in my mind that he is better than Chad Marsee.

More athletic for sure, but Marsee is a load inside. Is Griffith operating at 100%?
03-05-2014, 02:41 PM
Yes, I believe both are. Skylar cam back in time for the district. Andrew has been at 100% all year to my knowledge, I may be wrong, but at time he plays very sluggish, almost like he does not want to even be out there. Could be a dominate big man in the 13th if he really tried.

Corbin's best chance is if Jackson Co. falls in love with the 3-ball and forgets about taking it inside. That is what happened in the first game between the two, and is a big reason, along with Goins having a really good game, why Corbin won that game.

Yes I was talking about Skylar. Both are great athletes, and if Andrew can't get excited and pumped for a game like this he shouldn't be on a basketball floor. Good luck to the Jackets and Panthers!

I agree. Jackson could really run away with this if they are getting turnovers and blocking shots. But if the Corbin game plan works and Redhounds have long possessions, it will be a long night for the Generals.

100℅ I guess.....maybe he will start against Knox central..but I'm not the coach. :pondering:

SUR I haven't seen them play in person since the summer but I loved Skylars game then and couldn't imagine him not starting unless he wasn't at 100.
