02-09-2006, 08:45 PM
I agree #4....it was a bad move on there part...
02-09-2006, 08:46 PM
I don't think it was a bad move, they'll definately help the panthers.
02-09-2006, 09:00 PM
Adam will help the ball team next yr or the yr after if he gets to play. Colby wont be playin on thier baseball team and if he was beat by 5 of there golfers then he wont be helpin much there either.
02-09-2006, 09:02 PM
Good luck to them both. I hope they are happy at P-ville.

Why is this is the basketball thread? These players will have no impact for the Pikeville basketball team, maybe golf or baseball though.
02-09-2006, 10:41 PM
Good luck to them at Pikeville

#4 i thought of all the ppl...i thought tha you would have more support than anybody for them.

I've known these two young men for a really long time and know them well. I support anything that they chose to do I just wish they would have finished out the yr at SF.

How will they be eligble to play?
02-10-2006, 12:15 AM
he can golf a little but play a sport that involves a team no way he is not that type of kid. no respect for any coach and would hurt any team he plays for like he did the one he is leaving and all the players former and present willl tell you the same. he good student. Adam can play but agree with #4 bad move but guess Dwayne got his way.
02-10-2006, 12:18 AM
they might be eligble around chirstmas I guess colby will miss golf after all. year transfer sit-out like Harris did for pikeville girls if coach hall does not release them. something they might have wanted to think about before leaving the way they did.
02-10-2006, 01:04 AM
adam will be one of the top players for pikeville next year for basketball...he can handle the ball and pressure and how can u all say that about hayes....this kid can shoot jus hasnt been gave a shot....hopefully the panthers will take advantage of these 2 youngsters and u all will see a big improvement

Adam Slone would be an asset to any basketball team.

"NoWeakness" Wrote:Why is this is the basketball thread? As far as basketball goes, Adam will help more than any of the three that "NoWeakness" keeps mentioning. At least Adam will show it on the court, not talk about how good he is when the rest of the team in weightlifting.

KHSAA by-law states that the ineligibility period is one year from the date of enrollment. (assuming they simply transferred schools and did not actually move into the Pikeville school district). How will they be eligible around Christmas?
02-10-2006, 10:22 AM
From What I've Watched The Past Couple Of Years, Coach Williams Will Need To Settle Slone Down, He Is Erratic With The Ball And Often Out Of Control. Good Luck In Your New Environments, But As Shown With Many Transfers Through The Years, If You Can Play-you Can Play Anywhere, If You Can't You Only Cost Your Parents More Grief And Anxiety Trying To Get You To The Nba!!!

If they move into the city limits, that would make them eligible wouldnt it?

If there's a legitimate change of address, then yes, they could be eligible.
02-10-2006, 10:59 AM
I know he is moving up that road beside the hospital.... so it should be a physical change of address.

PIKEVILLES freshman class is looking good with the new transfer along with harmon adams and clevenger.
