Andrew had a knee injury that was not serious but it was his second knee issue in his young career...I think he had some folks in his ear about choosing between football and basketball, so he picked basketball...From what I am hearing he is going to play football next year...If that happens next years team just got better...JMO

Can't say that Skylar is already better. If he was then he would have started this year. He does have a different skill set that should give defenses fits. I know I live in the past talking about his middle school team, but people tend to think of his as only a wildcat option QB. He ran the same basic offense in middle school that the high school runs. He was a throw first QB and run 2nd. He will be a much better passer than people are giving him credit for. His arm isn't as strong, but he throws a much prettier and easier to catch deep ball than Dalton. Dalton will go down as one of the top 5 QB in the last 20 years at Williamsburg and he led us to our first state championship game, so I'm not trying to downgrade what he accomplished, just looking forward to the future.

As far as which freshman will have the most impact next year, I agree that Poore has the best chance, not only because of talent but mostly due to him being the more mature mentally and ready to listen to coach and do what is asked of him. The other two are more physically gifted, but have a lot of growing up to do before they will be ready to contribute.

That dumb inconsiderant statement is exately why we have difficulty at WHS any one who would cut another kid down like that on this gossip column without any respect for other kids needs to stick to being a mother of two players one in HS and ONE in ms I hope You take your trash somewhere else.

I don’t know why everyone is worried about Andrew and Cameron. No one is even sure that either one of them will play. I have heard that Andrew wasn’t going to play and I have also heard that Cameron might not even be at Williamsburg. Guys let’s focus on what we know we got and go from there.

I ask why we didn't continue to throw to him and was told that it was the state title game and we wanted to try and get everyone a little PT and had we got a running clock any sooner it would have been over to fast to let everyone get in that deserved too for all their hard work this season

I want all kids to feel welcomed and wanted at all WHS programs (especially football). Real Williamsburg fans don't run down any players current or past. Trust me when I say Williamsburg is blessed to have the number of good kids that we do. I have no idea about playing time, but I hope to see all the boys being mentioned wearing orange this fall. Until then I will busy cheering for our boys playing other sports.
