Well, Mayfield's lowest scoring games were against Paducah Tilghman, Murray and Russellville. Tilghman was a rivalry which its been stated we could have scored more if we wanted, coach went into cruise control. The Murray game we came out flat and couldn't score in the first half and the Russellville game was under very wet conditions. But all the other games Mayfield scored 35 or more so I think its a fair score.

It's a classic matchup of the haves -- Mayfield (9-9 all-time in state finals) -- against the have-nots -- Williamsburg (first state final). The Cardinals are in their fifth straight championship game, having won in 2010 and 2012 and lost in 2009 and 2011. Quarterback Jake Guhy will start in his third straight state final and has enjoyed a solid season throwing the ball. With longtime star Jonathan Jackson now at Murray State, Stuart Mills has taken over as the top running back. Williamsburg had been eliminated from the playoffs by Hazard the past two years but beat the Bulldogs in a regional final this year before knocking off Raceland in last week's state semifinals.
