Pike central will win i think but this one will be way to close to call! breathitt is playing under a new coach so it has been a tough year but will get better every year as time goes on.

This game is a toss up in my opinion. If Pike Central can hold on to the ball and not commit any costly turnovers, I believe they get their first win over the bobcats in Jackson. If PCC turns the ball over and allows the bobcats easy scoring oppurtunities, I like the bobcats. Both defenses have been suspect this season, so either team can't give the other team any easy scoring oppurtunities. This game will no doubt be a shootout, but for some reason, I feel like the bobcats are going to pull this one out at home. Bobcats win 42-41. Good Luck Bobcats!!!!!

Yep.. missing Breathitt's 3rd leading receiver who averaged a whopping 45 yards per game receiving and had only scored 6 TD's all year made all the difference in Breathitt being down by 4 TD's in the 4th Quarter.

It took an act of congress for Breathitt to even have him suspended. You would have thought the CIA confiscated the game tape following that game they way no one would try to talk about what really happened and how difficult it was for actual evidence to get out in this age of tehcnology

As someone mentioned earlier, Breathitt would not have beat Belfry last year regardless. Belfry was bigger, faster, and stronger than the bobcats last year. Belfry's offensive and defensive lines were the difference. I do think if the fight didn't happen last year, the game would have been much more competitive. Losing the senior WR/DB hurt, but what hurt the bobcats the most was letting this whole incident become a distraction. I feel like the coaching staff put too much emphasis on trying to keep this kid elgible, while they should have been focusing on the task at hand. Regardless, we lost and Belfry moved on. No excuses!!!!!!!!!!

PCC's football program is improving each year and we hope to continue to do so. I don't think it feels any different to us than it does for any of most other teams that lose year in and out to the Pirates.....including the Bobcats. Probably no different than it felt for the Bobcats to lose to Louisville Central in the state finals or for Belfry to lose to them in the state finals numerous times. A loss is a loss.
