To honestly say that we don't accomplish or win anything because we have not made it to bowling green is horse crap though. Who else has beat Highlands in 4A or 5A since 06 when Covington Catholic did?

As for Johnson Central's success, until you bring home the big trophy, you're regionally successful at best. Rockcastle County had a run something like this from 2000-02, going undefeated until running up against Highlands in 2000, then making it to the finals in 2001-02 against the buzzsaw that was Boyle County. Unless you're in the district with them, you never hear much about them anymore because of the way things ended in that three year stretch. One or two losses, but at the wrong time each year. Sound familiar?

Read the posts or have someone read them to you. Fort Thomas supporters are merely pulling your chain by mentioning that Johnson Central needs to produce a championship before declaring itself as a winner.

Johnson Central fans, on the other hand, blow smoke constantly about the wonders of their team and program and telling everyone what their team is going to do- not what it has actually done or failed to do. Woulda, shoulda, coulda won't get it. The proper order is to win and then blow. It is not blow and hope you win.

You gain status and respect and get called a "winner" by winning something. Fort Thomas has done that over and over and over and over- year after year. The trophy cases are filled with big championship trophies.

Johnson Central has performed well in the eastern part of the Commonwealth but never beyond. No championships. No big trophies.

So, brown_ind1977, I'd say the "horse crap" is clearly on you.

I remember it well. I was supposed to go with two of my regulars. One got sick just before we were about to leave and the other got held up at work. We were going to try a speed run to get there by the second half and by the time he got home, the game was in the bag. HUGE shock. Exactly what you should be praying for come next Friday. Good chance the opponent in the next round will be Boyle County, too. Are the stars lining up for a JC miracle?hh:

Trinity has been up of late. This year it seems to be BG that most everyone sees as #1. In the not too distant past it was Highlands. In the past six seasons the only thing that has mattered was being #1 in 4A or 5A. Mission accomplished.:Thumbs:

Are you and Harry totally dumb. Time and time again we know that Highlands is the best. They have been the best for numerous of years. Why should anyone in 4A even try.
Let me tell you why. There was a guy doing a servey on how much a man and there spouse play in the bed room (to put it in a nice way). He asked how many do it every night? Several men raised their hands. They counted them and sent them on their way. Well he kept narrowing it down till there was one man left. He asked , sir do you at least do it once a year? The man raised his hand real proud with the biggest smile on his face and said yes! So he then said to the guy. Why are you so happy for then! HE REPLIED TO NIGHTS THE NIGHT!

Thats why we play the game. You guys up North put your pants on the same way we do. 1 leg at a time. Nobody here is blowing we know to be the champ you got to beat the champ. So for god sake stop trolling.

Fair enough but not that impressive since all five games have been played at Johnson Central. But, I guess we should blame Fort Thomas for that since the Bluebirds always win their district and CovCath is always runnerup. For the eastern part of the Commonwealth, Johnson Central has a good team and a good program. You need to make an impression statewide. When you do, you can blow. But, until then, most see you as blowhards who are all talk and no trophies.
