Depends on how you measure success.
As for me I have been living in the Frankfort area now for 20 years. I watch all 3 local schools. I dont have ties to any of them.
As for Frankfort and their offense. I think they had success at throwing the football. They had balance in their offense and utlized different kids. Now just talking with their coaches last week they understand it is a process that you just don't become the Colts over night. The coaches said it was about balance and using the skill kids they have not about 40 passes a game.
In this area Franklin County has been pretty good at running a spread offense, but even they run just as much as they throw.
I think as the season goes on we will see bigger numbers threw the air for FHS.

So to have success in the passing game your TD's have to be through the air? They had 3 rushing TDs. The rest was scored off special teams.

I asked if they done it with success, so how many out of 18 did they complete? Hey man I root for your team, except one week a year. I just think they got too many athletes to have the biggest kid on the team throwing it! RUN THE ROCK FHS!

Rebel 4 life,
It has not even been a month since FHS beat the breaks off of Owen in a 7 on 7. Stick to serving fries. Secondly, Frankfort had 45 offensive plays last week and they threw in 19 of them.
And...... They completed 11 of them. Yes, coach Smith still calls the O, just a different kind of look that will work well with his personnel.

Frankfort will always run the Rock. But in order to get over the hump they need to become more of a dual threat offense.

There is no doubt that Frankfort should run the ball, but to "get over the hump" as fmsbball stated, there has to be a little balance.

The sad fact is Frankfort doesn't have the speed to take the corner anytime they want. E.J. and Quan are both long gone. They never had the line to ram it down someones troat. So finally the coaching trust has decided to do something different. That being said they still have five or six guys faster than anyone on rocks roster.

rock has a guy who was clocked at 4.4, and another at 4.5, i doubt Frankfort has anyone that fast.

Frankfort has just as much speed as they did in 2007.
I wished I was going to Rock to see 4.4-4.5 speed that Rock has...........

I respectfully disagree with you on Frankfort and their speed. I think they can match their 2007 team.
As for what FHS has ran over the years I think they ran what fit their kids. Now it wasnt some big scheme. But not mant Class A teams do.

Fields and Quan Weaver) I think you may be the only one. No disrespect I know they are fast as a whole and Jalen Washington is a burner but that is a very bold statement. I do agree if I had Aaron Jackson to throw to I would also.

He is a Frankfort guy. I think the Panthers found that out last season.
Wished I was able to see this game. I would like to see how much those Panthers have improved since last years butt kicking.

Rockcastle is not as strong as they were last year. That's no secret. I'd be very suprised to see them take a three plus touchdown loss as is being suggested by one on here. Who knows though...we will see tommorow night. If Rockcastle stops the Frankfort plays before they develop...as they did last year, I think Rock will be OK. If they play like they did in the second quarter the other night against Grant County....that prediction could become an ugly truth. I'm just glad I don't have to drive to Frankfort and get to sit in my chair in my normal place on the hill. It will be nice to get back in the swing of things at home....and I have all the respect in the world for Frankfort football.
