Any one have an idea when Belfry will have some scrimmages. Anxious for the season to be started already

Heard good things this week things are coming right along on pond creek.

Belfry will scrimmage Boyd County and Hazard, both at Belfry, the dates being August 10th and 17th, but I don't know which one is on which day.

Zack Francisco is currently playing WR and DE. Trenity Carr has ran some fullback but mostly halfback and DT, and Davontae Dari is practicing at corner (Could be great for us if he can relieve Sani of his duties making Warren a one sided player)

Full pads as of today? With Dari looking to slide into Sani's Corner slot, who is vying for the FS role left open by Dixon's graduation?

I could be wrong but i don't thank it will happen i've talked to some of the coaches and they say Sani both ways we will see.

Sani is a real talent at CB, but I'd you can put another quality guy in that role, especially against teams that are not dangerous in the passing game I think you do it. Anything on safety? Johnson? Huddle? Dari? That is one of the big opening slots for the defense. Any early front runners?

why johnson at safety,is there not as much depth as last year,i know it worked out better if they didnt have so many 2 way players?

Last year the games were heard on the same website but on the 93.1 station.

Haven't had a chance to see them practice this year, More passing this year or what. Ive heard mixed opinions.

well with 2 days before there 1st Scrimmage,how they looking, we know people wont see that much from that, but just what all around, speed, and size do they have?

Really dig the new uniforms.

1) Looks more appropriate for a team who has been to 5 State Finals in the past 10 Years

2) The more form fitting material will make it just a little harder for opposing teams to hold, as well as make it harder for them to tackle.

3) Still keeps that classic Belfry look which is one of the best looks in the State.

My favorite jersey has always been the White top with the red pants. I bet that looks super sharp in the new jerseys.
