Prestonsburg 81 South Floyd 63

Why didn't Nick play?
#32
Nick hurt his ankle during the SC game.

IMO this was a pretty even game, the refs took no sides.. I was beside the SF bench all night and half the fouls called on Pburg players were NOT commited, so no one needs to be saying the refs decideded it, b/c they didnt.. SF got beat and thats that, you can whine all you want, but its NEVER going to change.. If some of the SF players would watch their mouths and watch the way their hands were flying they wouldnt have so many technicals!!!
#33
do these to teams play agin this season
#34
P-burg looking good,SF looking for help. Good win cats.

Well I was also at the game and I told a bunch of my buddies I dreaded getting on here and hearing all the complaining about the officiating.......BC it seems like when a team loses its bc of the refs...I mean the refs are doing their job and like someone else said you will get good and bad calls every game.......Prestonsburg just hustled the whole game and didnt give up......GREAT WIN BLACKCATS now you have the ball in your hands now take care of the job........Thats all I have to say about this game, but it WAS NOT a bad officiated game....I have a ? for everyone....From everyone that has posted was you at the game last night?
#36

Good Post!
The Blackcats won! It's in the books. A ref can't help you out with an 18 point win.. sorry. If the ref's had played a part, it would have been closer - But it wasn't. Congrats Blackcats! We've all been waiting on something like this the whole season!
I'm so proud of you - and I know everyone else is too!
Like FB05 said, 'you have the ball in your hands, NOW TAKE CARE OF THE JOB'!!

Everything you've just mentioned are things I've seen SF and every other team in the region do. The officiating wasn't bad and even if it was I really don't think it matters when you lose by 18, maybe if the game would've been closer. You are right though SF did get out played.
#40
Yes they started that chant and stopped imedatly when it was apparent the player was really hurt, the same fans clapped when he got up and walked off the court under his own power, they did not start that same chant again. All in all the bleacher creatures are 1,000 times better than in the past. I used to not go to games because of the things they would chant, but that has not been the case in 4 or 5 years.
#41
well i've never seen SF chant cry baby when some 1 get's hurt..i have seen them turn to the wall cause i was part of it 1 time... but NEVER EVER chanted cuss words towards the other team

I've seen them chant a lot worse than cry baby, but let's not get into that. Prestonsburg just dominated last night, good win for the Blackcats.

Well let me say this, I was at the game last night just to watch a good game on a Saturday evening when there were no other games much being played. One SF player showed some class he played hard, till the very end, was a good sport to the P'burg players If I were his parents I would be proud of him I won't mention names but his number was 5. P'burg players time and time again would extend a helping hand to a SF player to help him up and it would be refused. P'burg players would also give a pat on the back to a SF player after a the P'burg player had fould him to let him know he did'nt mean to or sorry about that. P'burg played a good game and they were good winners last night. SF prob should have had another T when a player fouled out of the game and threw his hand at the ref. Wisely the ref knowing the game was in control did nothing and let it go. I've watched alot of basketball in the Region and I have to say there are maybe 3 player on the SF team I wouldint have on a team even if it meant loseing every game. They have extremly bad attitudes and no respect for anyone. But as I said earlier at least number 5 for SF let me know there is some light in hi hat.

The same thing happened last year, we lost to them at Pburg beat them and SF and beat them in the district finals.....I thought Sammy called a decent game last night, Wendell, well he was just Wendell...It's just one game, im sure they will see each other again

Well, this is the team that the pburg fans have been looking for all year! It was a total team effort tonight with everyone clicking. I thought pburg played really good defense tonight on the so-called best penetrator #24. I believe he only had 7 points. I would also think that the officiating was quite poor on both ends, so I would stop trying to use that as an excuse. All i can say is that if these blackcats come out with the intensity they did against sf, then i dont see any teams from the 15th being able to play with them. I'm sure they have been waiting for this game to repay the raiders from last years district championship, and it really showed that they were ready to play. I just remember it was 25-25 and then it seemed by no time it was 49-30. It was a great win and i hope to see these blackcats play with as much heart as they showed the other night
Good win blackcats

when shots fall good things happen , plain and simple. Pburg got high percentage shots and the fell. SF didnt .

Can pburg play this way every night? I dont think so, Nor will SF play this way everynight either.

Hope They Meet again.
