^ true dat.

Again wasn't Newton the QB most U.K. fans were screaming for last season?

Cause I swore it was all the QB'S fault from Ohio last season.

Joker needs to move Newton to the Line. That is his only shot at playing in the NFL. Joker and his staff need to learn that when you recruit a WR it don't matter if he runs a 4.0 forty yard dash and has a 50 inch vertical if the dude can't catch he can't play WR. Joker doesn't have any choice now but to to stick with Newton if he was smart he would just junk that short passing game.

This season is over so I say that the Cats give the ball to Jacob Russell the rest of the season, and they rotate every O-lineman on the roster and see who can actually play. Same thing with T.E. and Rec's.

That won't happen.
He has to try to keep this amazing "streak" that Kentucky fans are so proud of.
Conceding the season and playing for next year isn't an option.

LoL. Poor UK. They are to college football what Jenkins is to high school football. Absolutely awful, and far and away the worst team in the SEC. At least this year we wont have to worry about hearing "UK would go undefeated in the Big East". UK wouldnt beat anybody in the Big East either. Jacksonville State will beat them too. The offense is terrible. The defense is terrible. And its sad that the starting quarterback has 29 more yards passing than I do the last two games. Unbelievable.

I have said for weeks that this is a complete mess of an SEC program with no light at the end of the tunnell. It would be wonderful if joker knew what the hell he is doing, but it would also be wonderful if I lived in a Eutopia!! Joker is in so far over his head against the likes of Nick Saban, Les Miles, Steve Spurrier and Petrino to name a few it is not even the least bit funny! I agree with the one fella that said Maxwell Smith is not the answer either, this offense is the worst offense I have seen at Ky EVER...PERIOD... The program has 2 quality players (Trevathan and Tydlachka)

2006 Gentlemen we have been here before.

But for christ's sake we have to find offense, run clemons in the wildcat or something because passing will not work, take chances and stop running a qb draw. Our playcalling sickens me. Some offense is all I ask something if you could keep the defense off of the field for half the game we would win games just get a score here and there and consitantly gain some first downs it can't be that hard we have two good tailbacks and the line looks good when they are blocking downhill now that they are together and healthy let the big boys go.

I take back what I have said about morgan newton he has the arm, he has talent but he does not have the mindset to play at this level, neither does smith for that matter. Hopefully when Towles get here he will make a difference but for now we have to take our lumps with a young team, But this game was ridicolous.

Not even PTF can support UK after this pure disgrace to the game of football.

Worst team ever.
I say we just completely forfeit the rest of the season.
That was honestly the worst performance i have EVER seen in my entire life.

Lynn Camp would have gave UK a run for there money today

I will support Uk Football till the day I die. I have been through worse than this. But yeah this was a embarrasing loss.

As for the worst team ever you clearly never saw the Curry Era.

We tried some different things today, but unless you have a system such as a Mike leach system or even a Hal Mumme system when you are putting considerably less talent on the field than your oppnents week in week out it doesnt matter how good the play calling is you will fail miserably IMO. Mike Leach's system is such a geat system that you dont have to have the most talented players to be successful. It helps to have great talent, but average talent in a great system can still move the football enough to at least be competitive. Ky lines up with inferior talent and tries to beat teams staight up and they simply cant and never will be able to pull that off!

I watched a couple series and got mad and turned it over to the Clemson Tigers game.

Yea UK is bad this year. Did anyone really think we was going to be great? We wasn't the worst in the SEC last year, nor the years before that. This year we are. Won't always be the case.

Can't ever add the "best" into that can we? It's easy to say that the Cats won't always be the worst, but by-gawd, we sure will compete hard to be the worst every year......

A Bowl streak isnt that bad in terms of success for a basketball school.

Besides everyone knows that your Bengals compete to be the worst team every year.
#50
BOWL???? Are you serious? Today, if you are a D1 school, you make it to a Bowl. We're talking about GARBAGE bowls, nothing to brag about! It's the equivalent of going to the NIT in Basketball. Nobody cares!
#51
It can be summed up in two short statements. Fig is pitiful. Joker has an appropriate nickname. If somehow Kentucky ends up with six wins they should have the decency to decline a bowl bid. After all, we all know that the only reason Kentucky gets bowl bids is because they bring a large crowd to the game. Money speaks but that is still a pitiful reason to accept a bid to another toilet bowl.

Newton will be the QB the rest of the season but Joker needs to start looking for a QB immediately!

This was a HORRIBLE all-around game for the wildcats and I'll go ahead and say it...

Joker is in the hotseat.

There's no way around it.
I don't care that he's an alum....
I don't care how much time he needs....
He's had enough time to prevent something like THIS from happening.

He needs to forget about looking for a quarterback and instead start looking for a job immediately.

Jacob Russell is the Benedict Arnold of college football.

Mitch still may be a Joker fan right now, but once he see's how empty Commonwealth is for the remainder of the season he will be forced to fire Joker Phillips.

I haven't met anyone since the Louisville game that is in favor or Joker returning next season. There is really no excuse for how bad this team is. They returned almost everyone on a average defense from last season and almost the entire offensive line and this team can't run the ball, throw the ball, or catch the ball. Our best player this season might be Ryan Tydlacka, the punter.

Flat out pathetic!

Don't start that Hall Mumme didn't have talent and still won bullcrap, He had a great college quarterback, a good line, and very good receivers. His system would not work now because of the whole receivers dropping the ball thing. Bullshit systems worked in the SEC then but they would not now. You have to have a balanced offense to win in this conference, Becaue everyone is too deep on defense for you to be able to line up 5 wide and throw it every play. Your quarterback wouldn't survive the beating he would be put through in the modern sec.

The sad part is though that this is a moot point because we have talent just no one to pull it all together.
