P'burg by as many as coach will allow. BL may get 1 score on the varsity, but any more will come against the JV which all but i think 3-4 are freshman.

ok guys let me back up a sec. Well after review some stats and looking at games from the first 4 games, I really think alot of people think this is going to be a push over game for P-Burg. Well I do not think so I really think it's going to be a mind blower. I honestly think it will be a long night for P-Burg,And a close game

Alex Garner is 99% sure to be out of this game as he jusy began his PT on his seperated shoulder. We ate hoping to have him back by hazard game. Hes my brother, hoping like hell he can be back soon. I cant speak om when joseph is expected back, idk. Go blackcats

kory will be out friday thanks to a bunch of bitchy ass coaches that cant stand to see a next level hit .kory dont change a thing about the way you play the game, people that matter are watching and it could impact your future. this is a good chance for the young b cats and auston to shine. never let any one tell you any different boys. tallent is tallent coaching is coaching dont let anyone say you didn,t play your hearts out and in 20 years you wont wounder what if. old uncle bobcat!

Kory Jarrell is a dirty player. Hitting another player helmet to helmet isn't a "next level hit" its staight up pathetic. NFL players are getting fined thousands of dollars for hits like that..

I only have one thing to say to this. While you done a good job with the research you missed one big thing. That would be the comp level. South Floyd, Allen Central, and whoever else they played are no match for a perry central, or belfry. Like you said we will see when it comes Friday, but I don't think some people know what's getting ready to take place. :eyeroll:

This would be a great opportunity for the Bobcats to make a statement but, I think that this is going to be a reality check for Betsy Layne with the Blackcats going away with a big win!! This one could get ugly quick!

Does anyone remember the last time BLHS played Pburg? and what was the score? I remember a score from the early 90's 8-6 Pburg scored conv on the last play or something like that, but my memory fades.

My God, Betsy Layne fans are even more clueless than Shelby Valley fans. I remember back when SV thought they could beat Prestonsburg, then P-burg would destroy them. The same thing will happen to Betsy Layne, only worse.
I don't know what you BL fans are looking at when you say "stats", but let me go over something with you.
While your season has been incredible compared to normal BL years, you guys have still played the crappiest teams KY has to offer. You want stats? Then here you go.
You beat a Bracken County team who is 3-1 (BL being the only loss). They beat Knott Central, who is currently winless. They beat Manchester, OH, who is currently winless, and they beat Fayetteville, OH by 3 points. Oh, btw, Fayetteville is also winless on the season. So congrats on beating a team, who as of now, has beaten up on the best Ohio has to offer (/sarcasm).
You also beat South Floyd, who is sitting at a whopping 2-2 (one of those losses to BL). South Floyd's impressive resume includes beating a winless Jenkins team and a winless Knott County Central team.
Now onto Allen Central. AC sits at an also impressive 2-2 (one of those losses to BL). Their resume includes beating Jenkins, who as I mentioned above, sits at 0-whatever on the season, and a Paintsville team whose only wins were against the winless Jenkins Cavaliers and the mighty Paris Greyhounds, whose only win was against a winless Jackson County team.
Finally, last on Betsy Layne's meathouse of a schedule, was the Mighty Patriots of Knott County Central, who, as you can see from above, has been beaten by all of the other crappy teams you guys have played this year.
So, please Betsy Layne supporters, tell me why in the hell you think you can beat a Prestonsburg team, who came 7 seconds of beating an undefeated 5A Perry Central team, who, by the way, is like 3rd or 4th in the Mountain Top 10.
Let's not forget that Prestonsburg has beaten Sheldon Clark and Lawrence Co, both from Class 3A and yearly powerhouses.
Yes, P-burg got beat by Belfry, but they did happen to hang 30 points on a team that held 6A power Henry Clay to 14 points. In case you haven't noticed, Belfry is also undefeated and ranked in the top 3 of the Mountain Top 10.
Casey County was P-burg's last opponent and currently sits at 2-3 on the season, beating a Taylor County team who would be undefeated had it not been for Casey Co.
So when you try to compare stats, it's not even close. So congrats on beating up on the middle school teams of Kentucky, while Prestonsburg is giving it hell against the best of the best in the state.
I will close with this, Prestonsburg wins this one 66-12.
Oh and never forget who owns you.

I will say this...
Betsy Layne couldn't have asked for a better Friday in the season to meet P-burg - the Blackcats are going through severe injury problems, the Bobcats are home, and P-burg could well look past this game to next week vs. Hazard.
If Betsy Layne has it within them to make a game of this matchup, this would be the time to do it.
Fwiw...I'd LIKE to see the Bobcats do much better than what many on this thread are predicting. It's been a tough road for Betsy Layne football over the years. It would be great to see them reach some level of sustained success.

If Kinsey has quit the team, no one on the team knows it. I just asked 2 different players in the same class if they knew anything about it, and both said no.
Not saying he hasn't quit...just saying that his classmates don't know it if he has.
Highly unlikely, IMO.

I think red is a good fit for bl because he will not use the program as a stepping stone like most people would. He obviously works hard and is bl through and through. I will be rooting for bl as i do every week, but i think prestonsburg will win. Go bobcats.asshole. Hey you said it not me.
