I highly doubt it, we traded out crappy teams, well for more crappy teams to be honest. Breathitt returns a lot next year and I look for them to finally put it all together and make a deep run into the play offs.

Somerset goes to Breathitt week 4. I'm of course a Huge Jumper supporter, but after a chance meeting with Coach Holcum after the season in Lexington I will be rooting for Breathitt when they aren't playing us. He seemed to be a class guy and I really enjoyed talking HS Football with him.

Coach is a great guy. I see him every day at school.

Should be a good game when you guys come over. The playoff game was a good one just wish we would have pulled it out.

Breathitt's schedule doesn't seem as difficult as years past. I am glad to see Breathitt and Clay have renewed their rivarly. Both teams had some great games in the late 80"s and early 90"s. I didn't think Breathitt's district could get any weaker than it has been the last couple of years but I guess I was wrong. Breathitt will win every game in their district by 40 plus in my opinion. Breathitt's most difficult games will be Clay and Hazard. I believe Breathitt will end the season 10-0 or 9-1. Go Bobcats. Bring home the gold.

Newport is good. there fast. they have a heck of a team. But i only see 3 to 4 Loses for the Bobcats, maybe not even that many.

Somerset lost a lot but should still be a good team. Hazard, Clay, and Newport should be good as well. Breathitt has the talent to win all these games but they could lose a couple too.

Breathitt should win easily in the other games.

Take a look at Hazard's schedule.OUCH.Our's looks pretty easy.I don't like that.I like to play tough teams like we did last year.It made us ready for the playoffs.

I don't know anything about Clintwood, VA but Hazard should beat Somerset (Cause they lost alot from last year), Harlan, Jenkins, Pineville, not sure about the others.

Worst case senerio I say we go 6-4 losing to Letcher, Somerset, Hazard, and Clay. I think we will beat Letcher, Somerset, and Hazard. Clay county I am not so sure about. So I think best case senerio 9-1.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves now, Somerset lost a lot but they return a lot also. They will still be a top team in 2A.

Back to the subject, Breathitt should be fine with this schedule next season and with what they have coming back. I could see them going 10-0, I hope they don't for obvious reasons but they will be good.

Along with the basketball coaches being fired, so was Kyle Moore who was the Offensive Coordinator/Qb Coach for Breathitt. It's a huge loss and I am still trying to figure out why such a valuable coach was let go. I'v heard the School system is broke and could not afford to pay them, but it doesn't make any sence.

It doesn't make sense because it is not true. Money is not the reason for the firings. I know why all 3 were fired and it is not money.

Just what I had heard. I'v heard Colonel sanders didn't want them coaching either, which is probably true. But anyway back to the point losing Kyle is a huge loss for this Breathitt County football team!

I find it hard to believe that Holcomb would let his main assistant go!!! Breathitt has alot of talent coming back and will hopefully make another Championship run if they can keep everyone healthy!

If you know Arch then you would know coach has no say-so on that.Arch runs the WHOLE county;not just the school system.We need to overthrow him just like all these middle-eastern countries are doing with their dictators.
